Christians believe in creationism since it is not a fact.
@Subduction Zone does not have to believe in evolution since it is an undisputed fact.

The word "proof" is not used in the sciences because details are often wrong and have to be corrected later. There is no absolute "proof" of anything. The legal system agrees. There the standard is "proof beyond a reasonable doubt". Or in other words, one has to have enough evidence to support a charge. Evolution has met that and has gone far past it.
That is why it is both a theory and a fact as you showed.

No. Because life exists and tends to consume objects long before something gets to the stage where it would be "alive" it is going to be consumed by extent life.
