When you have steamed veggies, doI'm a picky eater these days, but it has lost me some weight. I even like raw veggies & a lot of steamed foods.
However, for me, burgers, pizza, frozen foods, etc, are more a liability than anything. They take up grocery store space that could be used on healthier foods.
When you have steamed veggies, do
you season them with extra bland?
Well, you wouldn't be eating the fancy pantsNope. Maybe a little sea salt for flavor.
Well, you wouldn't be eating the fancy pants
Frenchie food that @ChristineM loves anyway.
Ever tried haggis?

Oh, you food snobs!
All food is "stolen" from someone, eg, zhang
bang (Korean) is from China, all those noodles
in Italy (from China). Each culture adopts &
adapts as they want.
Sometimes the source is just lost to history.
Where something appeared to originate
doesn't mean that's the only way that food
can be prepared.
What matters is enjoying what's available.
So if Tex Mex or BBQ become popular in
Froggistan, they'll adapt it in their way, &
it might even be good.
Enjoyment is more important than authentic.
BTW, I heard a podcast on my last trip that
addressed French food. What it is not isn''t
what it was not so long ago.
I wouldn't eat foods with heavy cream sauce, correct.
I haven't tried haggis. Ick.
I agree. The world can end now.Salmon should never be heavily seasoned or covered in cream.
Its fantastic flavor shouldn't be disguised or overwhelmed.
Still digging that food snob hole deeper, eh.
You're all just four-legged, land-bound losers.

So, what exactly is the "Origin" of pizza
And they make it badly too...
And they make it badly too...
But Italy and China had trade as early as the 2nd century BCE...Silk road...so did pizza develop independently?
