My zombified self might be able to tell you. Being up and functioning and there at 8 in the morning for orientation has me outside of my natural environment. It's manageable and tolerable, but deeply despised. But it's when the start time is at 6 when I start having problem and start staying up all night because that's tons easier for me l, regardless the time I go to bed. But driving is ultra minimal so at least I don't have to worry about falling asleep at the wheel if it happens.

Tragically I won't actually get to stab anyone until Friday or Saturday as its orientation for 2-3 days. But why? Just tell me where the supplies are and let me start stabbing people, let me make people bleed. I have to. As St Patricks Day is a cursed time, but this happing around Samhain must surely mean the gods of my long ago ancestors favor me more (Patrick is mad I forsook the Church) amd have blessed me, as in return I must get to stabbing the descendants of those who butchered and oppressed my ancestors, especially other Celts, and anyone else who just happens to be there. I am a non discriminatory stabber of humankind.

I was recently appointed by the President to be Secretary of the Last Post and due to the recent passing of the 28th Amendment to the Constitution lauding bears and birds and appointing me winner in perpetuity, I declare this post the official last and winning one.

Ah yes, the orientation dance. You of course need to know how to fill out forms and be told where things are in spite of you being able to find them yourself.

Just came from visiting someone in the hospital.
She was all bruised from different needle sticks and an IV.
Don't get old. Most of us are going to experience this crap.

It's not too bad most of the time as long as you don't look in drawers, cupboards or the pantry.

Anyway the Mrs likes her so she's giving her a try and starts Friday. So I guess Friday morning I'll be cleaning before the cleaner gets here.
