It's a miserable, wet morning
After a bad nights sleep.
And a tempestuous morning call to BIL
And now were off to market hopefully to be back before the storms hit.
But hey, im still winning.
I leave the win in your care until I return. Take good care of it.

Caught in one downpour but back home and not too wet.
Got all the fresh stuff we wanted and more...
Much more rain due.
Both cep and cauliflower soups on to simmer.
Tiz another winner

My daughter has a fancy electric lounge and tonight it caught on fire. Good thing they were home.

It was raining earlier when I woke. Ceased for now, but it is supposed to rain throughout the day here.

It's 60° right now, so it's not too bad here. In about 10 hours, it will be above 90°. Then this coming week, it will get back into the 100s again. When will summer ever end?

Not a hope of rain in the forecast.

It is supposed to be in the 70's here this week. We had 80's and 90's this last week and 70's and 80's the week before. I guess the summer is ending in patchy, inconsistent stages across the country.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
We are technically in a drought, which I believe to be true considering we haven't had any rain since the first of August. It's supposed to rain here though this next week, and I am wondering if it's appropriate to dance in it. Also, the temps are supposed to drop from the 90s to the 70s and even lower into the 50s at night! I am ready.

A warning:

There's a contest for the best rabbit stew. You might wanna keep a low profile.
Thanks for the heads up.

I can't help it I'm so delicious, but I shouldn't suffer for it either.
