Yes, it does. Selfishness is our way of life. We call it "freedom", just like we mislabel the exploitation of our fellow citizens, "commerce", and the rule of wealth, "justice".
It's ALL OF US. We are all participating in a culture and social order that is totally corrupted by selfishness, greed, willful ignorance, and mutual exploitation.
I just want to makes sure I understand, you think all 360ish million Americans are the problem?

No caps. Hurts my eyes. Most caps I don't read anyway.
When I have to keep answering the same question, over and over, I assume it must be because you're having trouble seeing it. :)
How are you part of the problem?
Once again:

"We are ALL PART OF THE PROBLEM BECAUSE WE ALL PARTICIPATE IN OUR SELFISH, CORRUPT, UNNECESSARILY BRUTAL SOCIETY. Thinking that we are somehow innocent is a big part of the problem.
Can you be part of the solution?
We can be, ... but at a cost. And when only one out of every 50 or 100 of us acts as a solution, we aren't going to be very effective. Yet we will still suffer the consequences.

Please explain to me how you think such an absolute number matters. Do you imagine that you are one of the extremely small number of those who do not participate in the system and is therefor innocent? Or are you looking for any exception you can find, no matter how small, to discredit the entire assertion? (And there are only about 330 million of us.)

Please explain to me how you think such an absolute number matters.
It is important because you are using terms such as 'ours', 'we', etc. In fact, when I asked you if you thought your perspective applied to all Americans you said yes. You are taking a single, over-simplified perspective and applying it to a very large collection of people. I am questioning whether or not you have a sophisticated enough understanding of the population, as a whole, to make such a judgement.

Do you imagine that you are one of the extremely small number of those who do not participate in the system and is therefor innocent?
No, I believe we all have flaws and we all have things we can work on. I am not placing myself in a category that is above anyone else, that isn't the point. The point is that our country is so incredibly diverse, that is not possible to pass a sweeping judgement that encompasses everyone. You simply can't do it in good faith.

Or are you looking for any exception you can find, no matter how small, to discredit the entire assertion?
I am doing exactly that because I believe your assertion is flawed by design. From my perceptive, you are promoting a nihilistic point of view. What is your conclusion? Should we throw our hands up and simply stop because 'why bother'? I am confused as to what your conclusion is and what thought process you are trying to promote.

(And there are only about 330 million of us.)
The exact number isn't relevant but I appreciate the correction.

He ends up shot dead on his front porch.

The cashier at the store's like: "'If we didn't have to force him and ... tell him that he couldn't come into the store, nothing would have happened really. He would have got his groceries and went along with his day.'

The person making this post (me) is like: "If he had worn a mask when he came into the store, nothing would have happened really. He would have got his groceries and went along with his day."

It was about more than just not wearing a mask.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/fatal-haliburton-shooting-siu-1.5650761
The man had refused to wear a mask and allegedly assaulted a grocery store employee before driving away, Ontario Provincial Police say.

Police were called to a Valu-Mart in Minden, Ont., just after 8 a.m., OPP Sgt. Jason Folz said.

Officers tried to stop the suspect's car, but they refrained "in the interest of public safety" before doing a follow-up investigation, Folz said.

Ontario's Special Investigations Unit (SIU) said the man drove away, and an officer saw the car and started following it for a short while. Based on the licence plate, officers made their way to a home on Indian Point Road, the SIU said.

Outside the home there was an "interaction," and two police officers fired their guns, the SIU said.

Folz said that after shots were fired, "additional resources" were brought to the area near Eagle Lake, by the village of Haliburton, about 215 kilometres northeast of Toronto.

The man was shot and taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:47 a.m., the SIU said.

In a news release issued Thursday morning, the SIU said investigators had recovered a pistol and a semi-automatic rifle from the scene.

Honestly, isn't this more about control than health?

Don't listen to them. You are the one who is right. It is all about control.

First, it's control your face mask. Next, it will be control your underpants. Some "scientists" are saying tight underpants adds to your susceptibility to getting the virus. They will soon be mandating no underwear! For men and for women! The Police State Police will be authorized to check all people, especially women because they are the primary spreaders of the virus, to make sure they are obeying the New Laws!

But that's just one little step. As more and more people become aware that vitamin D from sunshine is a preventative, a New Mandate will be issued "to stop the virus": All people must be nude in public in order to absorb the maximum amount of sunshine.

For some reason I didn't get this.

I'm just asking a yes or no question.

Are you "personally" a part of the we scenario?
If so, what are you doing to provide a solution?
If not, why we and not they?

We is a general word and most likely used to point a finger outwards without adding her or himself to the equation. Deflective word. On the opposite end, "you" can be general and not personal but the only way one knows is in context.

From your lips to God's ear, I guess....

How many people do you know personally that have died BECAUSE of Covid-19, not just WITH Covid-19? Just wondering....

We already knew that you are a deeply loving Trump supporter, but do feel free to continue to remind us.
Now see....that post is an example of failure to read & comprehend.
Were I to descend to that level of faulty rationalization, I might post
something like.....

"Yer Hillary lust makes you a war loving, corruption tolerating, insider
trader loving, defender of attacking of victims of Bill's sexual assaults."

Fortunately, I don't dwell in partisan hatred which inspires such tirades.
So I wouldn't post such a thing about you.
However, I have some useful advice...
Instead of claiming superior intelligence, tis best to demonstrate it.
I stand ready to be impressed.

I don't know any of the 140,000 Americans who are a COVID statistic.
I also don't know anyone who has died from diabetes this year.
I also don't know anyone who has died from HIV this year.
I also don't know anyone who has died from a heart attack this year.
I also don't know anyone who has died in a car crash this year.

Did you have a point?

Looks like with all those Covid cases and deaths you would at least know one victim personally.....hmmmm....

And I have personally known at least one casualty of the other categories you mentioned...again, hmmm...

That is what you say. Perhaps it is even what you believe about yourself. Yet you made this derogatory post about me which also displayed hatred for Hillary Clinton.
I'm not detecting superior gray matter in those of you who preferred the incompetent, corrupt, war mongering alternative.

However, I have some useful advice...

I have no need to impress you.

I do not deny being a supporter of Clinton during the last election.

You, on the other hand, make posts supporting Trump and then get annoyed when people show that you are a Trump supporter.

So, going by your indirect answer, you believe COVID can't be too bad since neither you nor I personally know anyone who has died from it.

Perhaps you need to take a course in Logic 101.
