Welcome back Feathers....

You're gonna get hugged for that welcome, Victor! I hope you realize that!

If I may ask, who is the person in your new avatar? They look slightly familiar, but I can't seem to put my finger on it.

I cheer you on in that goal! Having my own business is something I aspire to. Do you think that you might be able to do accounting for other people's home businesses?

I've long wanted to have my own business and the program I've finally decided on is actually for a Bachelors of Science in Business - Marketing. I figure marketing would be best for running a retail business instead of accounting. Besides, I've taken some accounting courses already and was the only accounting tutor my last college had the entire time I was there. So I think I have that area covered. ;)

Well, it's a really popular thread! :D

Actually, I wanted to do a bit of decorating in the tea-room! How about this over the door?

I get the catalog all the time. They have some really gorgeous things. Nothing I can afford right now...but gorgeous none-the-less.

That reminds me- I want to send away for their catalog! (They've got a plaque where you can personalize a wrought-iron looking bunch of ravens. Someday! *fingers crossed*)

we need some parchment, quills and ink for writting! writting is something i want to include more of in my rituals/spell workings, like writting a chant/prayer and burrying it to the earth or something, but i'd love to hear all your ideas on how to include writting in a ritual :)

Mike, I use writing in my banishings and request burnings. During a ritual (or before if it so suits you) take time to think about what you need or need to work on in your life, things you want brought towards you and in your life (for full moon) or things you want to be rid of such as problems, bad habits, bad situations and so on (for new moon) and write each on a small scrap of paper. Then, during ritual, concentrate on each one while you hold it, light it with your altar candle and drop it into your cauldron or burning bowl to burn out. Symbolically releasing it to the gods for their help for benefits or cutting the ties it has to you for the negative things. Concentrate on what you want done as you deposit the paper into the cauldron.

This is something I love doing! Last Christmas, some of my relatives gave me some scrapbooking stuff. I really enjoy it, but don't really have enough photos to make a scrapbook. So I've been using the stuff to work on my Book of Moonlight. (Yes, yes, I've finally settled on that for my waffling self.) I particularly love writing down spells and observations in calligraphy and then saving them, so that they're handy. I hope to someday be able to do illuminated writing, as well.
