*brushes the ashes off her feathers* Now how did I wind up being the burnt sacrifice?! I've got so much water in my personality, I'm suprised anyone could get a spark!

*huge hugs to all, and a special hug for Victor* How's everyone been? (The peep from me was when I thought I'd be back online a few days a week. This is more of a shout, since I have internet access at home again! *happy dancing*)

Hmmm... Maybe a certain admin's fondness for his avatars and crunchy maidens was before your glorious advent here? (I have no sense of time, so that might be.)

Welcome back Feathers! I'm not around all that much either anymore or else I'd have noticed you sooner.

I'm browsing online colleges now and have been contacted by two in just the past few hours. I'd like to finish up my education and use up my GI Bill while I still have it. No use letting it go to waste and not taking full advantage of the education it is meant to give me. I'm figuring something in business management or private sector accounting. Something that would allow me to have my own business or set my own hours working from home.

Oh, and baby update: at 2 months old (10 weeks to be more precise) he's weighing in at a walloping 15lbs and he's 24 inches long! He's wearing clothing for babies around 6 months old now. A few outfits sized 6-9 months fit him perfectly. It's like I'm feeding this kid Miracle Grow or something!

That is great about Jamie growing like a wild weed Draka . :) Healthy babies do , you know . And it is good to hear that you plan to put your GI bill to use . Best of luck there . :)

As for the Dragon question , I believe that most people have a protective Dragon Spirit . They are our connections to the Elements . And not all Dragons look the same . Such as the Hydra , which is type of Dragon . Some even go as far as to class the Thunder Bird as a type of Dragon ... ??? { couldn't say myself } .

Well, I think my mind is made up as to which college to attend. I've picked out my programs and gotten tons of information on cost and method of attendance and class structure. I can use my GI Bill, but I will need a little more aid so I have been looking into other financial aid availabe. Research into grants and scholarhips, even a loan or two. I'm getting all my ducks in a row. I'm not enrolling yet though. I'm waiting for me to get a couple checks I'm expecting. Then we are moving and we need some computer updates, new hard drive and a new monitor too.

The new hard drive is a must. We hardly have any room left and Turk has already applied to his college, so he will be starting soon. I just want to wait another couple months or so to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Looking forward to this. :D

edit: I certainly hope no one read this before my edit of a couple typos. One inparticular still has me rolling! I'm sure it would have others on the floor too!

Thanks! It was hard to be gone, but I'm so happy everyone remained the same, wonderful people that I love!

I cheer you on in that goal! Having my own business is something I aspire to. Do you think that you might be able to do accounting for other people's home businesses?

*looks up from care-box she's planning to send with 'Miracle Grow' on the side* You mean you're not supposed to feed them that?! Curses! That's wonderful to hear, though! Be sure to take care of your back- I've babysat kids that I carried around on my hip and my spine's never been the same!
