I'm an IT person and there is a tuition reimbursement program..... I am talking masters degree...or if I don't want to commit to all that time...since I'm old.....masters certificate..... started a masters a few years back but never finished........and I am still thinking I'm too old for this

oh man...you're ALWAYS ruining my fun....... ok.... I guess I sharpened my claws for nothing then

technically I can retire in 9 years...... I probably won't, but I could..... I have some things to check out and I will make a decision this week. If I am going it will likely be in the spring. It would be a way to focus on the area of IT I like and get away from all the other areas I really despise......

Well, to me your age is very old indeed, since now I recall you saying there are grandchildren. Do you (at such an advanced age) have a righteous justification for pursuing a certificate? Perhaps you are using this *certificate* as a subterfuge to pursue women on campus? I guess what I would like to ask very politely is "What is this really about?"

Why not take a course or two that is relevant and interesting and not think about whether or not you'll ever finish?

I have heard of this before.It can be cause by eating raw or undercooked pork.It can be fatal.
