I have thought about going back to school myself. Maybe psychology.I'm carefully considering the idea of getting a job this winter, or starting to make preparations to go back to college at least.

@Revoltingest does post serious stuff here to annoy us (or something). So you're in good(?) company. This is kind of a serious article, so I hope it's okay to post it here, but...
COVID vaccines to be required for military under new US plan
I have a degree in psych. It enabled me to write this a few years ago:I have thought about going back to school myself. Maybe psychology.
That is great.I have a degree in psych. It enabled me to write this a few years ago:
Who cares about sanity
I vote for terminal inanity.
Perhaps I shall go very crazy
and make my mind all hazy.
There are monsters under the bed
and upon my brains they must be fed.
The closet is a horror show
to which I slimely doth flow.
I do seriously emit a cackle
before being filled with spackle.
The tree is a tissue of back bottom scratching
perhaps my mood moon moan be catching.
And I wound up in the IT world after all of that. But I did find the psych degree useful in analyzing corporate psychopathology. That is great.
So you have degrees in chemistry and psychology. So an entomologist psychologist isn't so odd as a thought. Just slightly more odd.
I am interested in the field, have toyed with the idea of a career change and it could be something I could do for many years. At least until I was more troubled than my clients. And I wound up in the IT world after all of that. But I did find the psych degree useful in analyzing corporate psychopathology.
Despite mentioning clients, I am really more interested in the research side of the field and less so the applied side. And I wound up in the IT world after all of that. But I did find the psych degree useful in analyzing corporate psychopathology.

I took introductory psychology as an undergrad and the instructor took time have a chat with the class during lectures on abnormal psychology. It seems he had a sudden rush on office visits by students with concerns. The "joke" among some of us students were that many professionals had entered the field because of their own issues.
The research side is quite different given the number of directions that need exploring. Learning about how to construct meaningful experiments with statistically valid results that could be reproduced can be a real issue but learning more about how we tick is worth it.
Bravo! I like it.To treat you to another, I was once challenged, I think in a contest but it's been years, to write a bad poem about food. The result:
Oh fetid turliningdromes
infesting my dinner plate
with sharp talons
waiting to slice up my innards,
I do praise.
Born from primal dung
gestated in the recesses of a refrigerator
feasting on decaying matter
they did mutate and grow.
Achieving sentience
naturally they plotted to take over the world
using humans as incubators
to raise ugly generations.
Infecting human brains,
they turned thoughts to discord
and polyticks
the better to destroy opposition
and hasten the end.
Thus I do offer my body and brain
to them
superior at being evil,
future rulers of the Earth.

Me? You're the one who keeps proving him right. Me, on the other hand, I am proving him wrong, his prediction failed. 'Twas not the today of yesterday it happened but the today of yesterday's tomorrow.leave me out of your culty @Revoltingest worship
Nah. Your wrong. He's wrong. I'm right. It's veiled worship....
I did. I also had stuff to do so it was easy.Go for it.
