Never a drought, flood, quake, fire, etc.

And the difference between a bonnet and a hood is, a bonnet implies gently femininity while a hood(ie) implies thuggish youth.

A bonnet won't do for the Mojave. Needs a hood to cover more and to be more securely in place. The MidWest winters also a bonnet just won't do. You need more covering for those winds and colds.
English drizzles though I suppose a bonnet would do fine.
