Not really.

weiner

Noun

wei·ner

less common spelling of wiener
@Revoltingest just tries to serve up some disinformation at least four times a day.
In Kraut "ie" rhymes with "glee".
But "ei" rhymes with "high".
Note....
Excerpted...
In English, "wiener" (short for "wienerwurst"), from Wiener Würstchen, is a colloquial name for a hot dog.[11] The specific phrase Wiener Schnitzel itself, however, denotes a "Viennese breaded veal cutlet",[12][13]

Note that Vienna is "Wien" (in Kraut), & rhymes with "spleen".

Gawd...I'm afflicted with illiterates bent on grasping
at any straw to believe they've won some argument.

In this case, I'm a sore winner, ie, rubbing yer nose in being a dimbulb.
Wikipedia says you're wrongo pongo about "wiener" & "wienerschnitzel".

And from your own link....
"less common spelling of WIENER"

It's less common because it's inferior...a perversion of its Kraut origin.

No, it's the fact Marriam-Webster accepts weiner as an alternative spelling of wiener. It's like gray and grey. When talking of the color either is acceptable.

It's less common cuz it's a perversion.
No Kraut speaker would ever use it.
Yer an "Anthony Weiner" type when you use those vowels that way.
It makes you worse than Tucker DeSantis!
