Drake's Island, just 600 yards from Plymouth, was used as a military defence for hundreds of years - with 18th-century cannons still in position and included in the sale.

Any new owner may not be alone though, with reportedly 15 resident ghosts - all former military men.

"If you believe the mediums who come out here... they're all British squaddies," says Mr Phillips.

So, there's an island for sale, complete with ghosts.

"They are here to protect us. That's what they did when they were alive and that's what they're still doing!

"I've seen enough to say stuff happens here that I can't explain. But all of it is really nice," he insists.

But I guess it's not exactly a tropical resort.

I attached my Fitbit to a USB connection to recharge it this AM. And my computer for the first time is telling me it does not recognize it about every 5 seconds. But it's nicely recharging so PTPTPTP to my computer.

When I buy 24 quart milk crates from Farmplast,
they cost about $9 each. And I can pick them up
directly from the factory.
I searched on line for half-height milk crates.
They range from $22 to $40 each. No local source,
so with shipping, they range from $35 to $50 each.

I dislike this!
I want them.
But I won't pay that much.

A map comparing common paper sizes. Our letter-sized stationary is smaller than its European equivalent. I guess that means they waste more paper than we do.

Reminds me of of old school trick.
Student "Sir, will i get into trouble for something i haven't done"
Teacher"No, you cannot get into trouble for something you haven't done"
Student "That's really good news because i haven't done my homework"

It's pretty cloudy out which is odd for us in August. (note that since "weird" is now political, we should use alternative words. Fortunately the all knowing internet is there to help us:
