The Role of Women in establishing Peace

So basically you want to advance womens' rights & status in society so it's at least on par with men in the name of advancing peace... but you also want to deny women access to places where they can use that power i.e. the Bahai World Order.

Men are denied the opportunity of childbirth. Equality does not mean sameness. The sexes have different functions.

It's amazing how quickly you changed your tune when more than just me began pointing out how asinine your initial argument was. But that's fine, because now we agree. That's a great thing.

I really appreciate having that pointed out as I thought my quote about the two wings of a bird made it clear that no sex is superior. Maybe you didn't see it?

Here is the quote again.

"And among the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh is the equality of women and men. The world of humanity has two wings—one is women and the other men. Not until both wings are equally developed can the bird fly. Should one wing remain weak, flight is impossible. Not until the world of women becomes equal to the world of men in the acquisition of virtues and perfections, can success and prosperity be attained as they ought to be."

(Selections from the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá)

According to ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, peace is not going to happen.
Should one wing remain weak, flight is impossible.
"Impossible".

If there can't be peace unless the two wings are equal in strength, peace is never, on this planet here, possible.

That it is not possible is not what I believe. It is what some hot-shot declared.
I don't think I agree with it. OK?

......ever

There are many people and organizations focusing on strengthening the Cause of women. It will take time but the bird will fly again. The bird currently is stuck in the quagmire of wars and conflicts but we will help it fly again away from these base things towards the lofty heights of peace and reconciliation.

I wasn't referring to the women. I love you!

Everyone knows it is true. Now here is what's interesting, some can admit they know and some can't. Some will admit they know, but act like they don't know.

That's a very interesting take on it. Maybe you can elaborate?
Men have made themselves watchers and keepers of the Bible. They believe things that they call "true" that are literally false. I think I can't help you to see that believing falsehoods as truth is WEAK. OK?
If strong wings are needed for peace to happen, it is never going to happen.

I agree believing falsehood as true is a great weakness but what does the Bible have to do With This?

You are right. Peace may not happen until we have another major war because there's no sign of peace yet.

I did not say that peace could or would happen after another war. The status quo is headed for never peace. Never. Not ever.

Men either,
1. believe the Bible are God's words (Is God's Word)
or
2. they do not care

Correct knowledge is a strong wing. Believing in things that are not true is a weak wing.
If correction is not received the wings will always be weak, forever weak.

IF weak wings means peace is not possible, then there never, ever, will be peace on Earth.

There are other places.

I do not know that there are two wings that need to be strong for PEACE to happen.

I am saying that if it was true or if it can be made to be true THEN peace is impossible.

If it is true that peace can happen ONLY by two strong wings together, it has to mean that peace can not happen.

The guy who said it is great. Am I right?

He's saying it can be made to be true by us.
