..there are plenty of atheists, myself included, who WOULD let our loved ones die, in certain circumstances....
I suspect you're being fascetious. Another few months I'll have your sense of humour figured out...lol..

1- But JW's let their loved ones die regardless of circumstances!
We sensible Christians and atheists DO look at the circumstances; for example when my elderly mother was in a coma with thyroid complications 15 years ago, the hospital docs told me it might be better to simply let her slip away rather than prop her up with medication like a vegetable for the rest of her life, so I said "Okay, do whatever you think best", and they stopped the meds, pulled a few plugs, and she died peacefully a couple of days later..:)

2- The key to my sense of humour is that I don't take life seriously because it counts for zilch in the grand scheme of things and i'd much rather be the fool that i am!
I was born and bred in the English midlands city of Leicester (pronounced Lester), King Lears old home town, (Lear-cester) and our family go back generations in the area, my surname goes back unchanged to before 1066, so maybe i've got Lear's jesters blood in me, ha ha..:)

"The great secret of the successful fool is that he's no fool at all" (Isaac Asimov)
"The true fool knows that the only insanity is to regard the world as rational" (Guide to Lear)
"Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth" (Colossians 3:2)
"Become a fool by the worlds standards in order to become wise" (1 Corinthians 3:18)

Get me off of this planet
Every monument, palace, temple and prophet, saint or radical zealot was not proof enough.

Say I perhaps Jesus among numerous personnel of the Kingdoms of Heaven and Hel, to avoid being forced into a psyche ward, over numerous scans and screens first.

You believe in this... white... Jesus...

I am not coming back.

You're going to hell for idolatry, jk.

You can't go about this in the way the ancients did with "ESP", people are going to call ********
on you pretty quickly, at least you shouldn't be crucified in the first world. at least. A social
outcast and total mockery is something else and I can almost guarantee you would have nothing
really good to say.

It's painstakingly grueling to look through the pages of history and see all the pain brought on
by issues that could have been handled through conversation, like most people this age.

From what I've learned in my impermanent prognosis is hardly enlightening, it's not really omnipotence and ,
thus far. I will continue to laboriously weed through the euphoria and age long lectures from Satan and Loki,
who seems legitimately not that evil and ready to invoke ruthless and cruel environmentalism on all of you sinners.

I'm going to hold out, the fruits of my mind shalt spoil the.

I'm going to wait until I retire, or after I'm forcefully diagnosed with a mental illness
to write this book. I'm going to call it the LOLS Gigas.

People should have just assumed the wrath of God by now is more than likely the only
coming, perhaps total annihilation of Mankind, but, speculating is taboo, or something.

Jesus is a carpenter by trade...

Go figure...
My grandfather was from the Midlands (Staffordshire).

Oh, and btw, telling me how to pronounce Leicester? :slap:
(just kidding...but of course, having a Pom grandfather makes me familiar with English pronunciation, and strange offal-based foods).

It IS an advert...but for one of my other jokey threads rather than actual cheese. But it's been there a heckuva long time, so might be time for a change I think.

Well, I was only ill for a couple of days, but I guess it was enough to conclude the thread. It was probably time anyway.

I would just like to make a couple of comments in closing though. It has been a long thread in which I have learned a great deal, both about the attitudes of posters and science as a whole. I have come to the conclusion that there exists in our world two sets of laws. The physical and the spiritual. Natural laws, such as, Thermodynamics, Sir Isaac Newtons Laws of Motion and Gravity and Time etc etc. The Supernatural laws, such as, Morphic magnetic field, cosmological consciousness, a sixth sense and cause and effect ect. ect. I believe that both sets of laws are inseparably connected by quantum theories to create an eternal round that governs the universe we live in. Only by believing that both sets of laws exist will we achieve a true understanding of our universe.

Sadly, there are those who only comprehend the natural laws, so are stuck in the quagmire of doubt and disbelief preventing them from finding the road to complete enlightenment. Christians seem to have all purchased four wheel drive vehicles so easily overcome that quagmire, with ease, allowing them to gain access to the highway of complete knowledge, even hidden knowledge. But that is how it was always going to be. The majority of non-believe, I believe, are similar to 'lewisnotmiller' haveing a high degree of decorum and amicability. Being able to disagree without being disagreeable. That was, for me, a pleasant encounter, restoring my faith in non-believers being capable of debating without debasing. If he rises into the next life, and I believe that he will, then I am sure his Judgement will not be harsh.

Cause and effect, in the spiritual sense, is to reap exactly what you sow. If we sow bad seeds, or good seeds in poor ground, than that is what we will reap. Fruit that is bitter to thee taste. Likewise, if we sow good seeds then we will reap good fruit. I have seen this in action many times, both in my life and in the lives of those around me. Today I am extremely happy as a result of striving to choose the right, People always get their just rewards. The murderer is always found out and the theif is always caught. It is a supernatural law.

Anyway, thanks to all those who I have gained knowledge from, and thanks to those who challenged my beliefs and heart felt pity, to those who found it necessary to be rude and obnoxious.

Yeah, Heston's Taylor is a pretty good role model in some respects; there they are, stranded on an unknown planet in the distant future, but does he run around fretting and wringing his hands?
Nah, as they paddle away from the sinking spacecraft he takes it right on the chin and says "Alright, we're here to stay!"

Heston was the chairman of the National Rifle Association who used his celebrity to demonstrated for the rights to own a gun, just 2 days after the Columbine School massacre. Not one of my favourite character, even though he has now passed away. He was very insensitive to the families of those who lost their lives

The magic imagined laws. God theoretically has ultimate power, so he can make a universe that depends solely on natural law, which is why science works and why mumbo jumbo assertion like the cosmological consciousness have no evidence.

"Likewise, if we sow good seeds then we will reap good fruit. I have seen this in action many times, both in my life and in the lives of those around me. This is crap. Most criminals aren't caught, especially back in the day before video cameras and forensic science. most have gotten away scott free . And how about the amazing volunteer worker who gets stage 4 esophagus cancer? or the 13 year old pious teenager that has a brain tumor? Or the 5 year old innocent with lukemia? This baseless assertion about karma, and your anecdotal evidence to support it is ludicrously false, and I can't believe that someone with your intelligence would possibly suggest that.

That you think this is enough to tell me that you do not have a clue about the Christian faith and what it stands for. You are arguing from complete ignorance so I cannot even make you accountable for this drivel. He has made a universe that depends solely on natural laws, to him. We have not discovered the other natural laws yet which makes them supernatural until we can give an explanation for it.

"This is Crap" How very eloquent and intellectual. "This is crap", should I answer it and put it down to your ignorance on the subject or should I answer it to demonstrate your ignorance on the subject. I was a little concerned that the statement might go clear over the heads of some and you have demonstrably shown that it has. A thief need not be caught and tried in front of a jury of his peers to reap justice for his crime, likewise, a murderer does not require a conviction to pay for his crime.

We are mortal human beings who are subjected to illnesses and disease, as are our counterparts in the animal Kingdom. Unfortunately, some of us suffer painfully inhumane health problems whilst others stay free of them. That is why it is essential for the well and healthy to help in looking after the sick and informed. God could intervene and he could cure every sick person that lives, however, as I have said, and explained many times now, God cannot intervene, however, those of us who can draw upon the powers of heaven can cure the sick. I have witnessed it many time and have seen the astounded look on doctors and surgeons faces when these miraculous cures take place. Call me a fool, but there is a way to relieve sickness using our own power of healing and Gods will. The biggest drawback to this resource is people like yourself creating a world where religion is outlawed as the believe of the mentally unstable so it is not utilised anywhere near as much as I'd could be, should be. That is down to the scepticism of mankind and their lack of spirituality. So if you are looking for someone to blame look to the proactive aggressive atheists who stifle the important use of faith healing.

.

You doing a fine job of that without us needing to help.

And your factually wrong, in many cases. To the point your statement is dangerous, and you should be noted as having bad credibility.

Positive suggestion does help, and prayer can benefit, but it is very limited in scope.

IT CANNOT REPLACE SCIENCE OR A DOCTOR

Honest as usual I see.

I would advise anyone to not listen to OP as this is dangerous faith, that can kill you or your loved one.

He has proven himself over and over to lack credibility.

I didn't say all the sick. That is just your false assumption, plus, I know you like to place words in other posters mouths. Same old same old. Nearly 4,000 posts prove a lack of credibility. Ok.
