It has been treated as an illness, by science, in the past. I would imagine science, being inquisitive, would like to know what causes it. If they were ever to find a fix, it would be interesting if there is any take up like there was in the past. I doubt it.

They also used to say stomach ulcers where caused by stress. But that won't come back and the cure for them did not look at the past but the present and future.

Why would I? They have no relation to the context of my post and none of them would be able to say what causes homosexuality or transgenderism.
