Trump ordered to pay nearly 355 million in NY fraud case.

Has absolutely nothing to do with Biden.

This is about your deflection. Your attempt at whataboutism.
Joe Biden isn't here. This thread isn't about Joe Biden.
Trump isn't here either, but that never stops anyone from talking about him.
Plus the fact that any Biden thread immediately gets the "Yeah, but Trump....." treatment right off the bat makes me not put any real stock in your "whataboutism" complaint.

Oh, come on! That's just Donald being Donald.
If it's ok for Joe to be Joe, then why not show equality when dealing with the opposing team?

This isn't just about "Donald being Donald". It is about the kind of person "Donald" is when he is being the real Donald Trump. You refuse to take his words at face value, treating him like some kind of humorist or joker. A performance artist who is really not what he appears to be in real life. Except that we have seen him in real life, and he is what he appears to be. There are loads of videos and recordings. This isn't the Don Rickles show. It is the person who brags about getting away with molesting women when he doesn't know he is being recorded. Trump is the president who tells the president of Ukraine that he wants a "favor" in return for desperately needed weapons--dirt on his likely political opponent in an upcoming election. This is the same guy that lots of Republicans who formerly supported and worked for him are now saying that he was a disaster in office and a serious threat to democracy if returned to office. Not Donald being Don Rickles. It is Donald being Donald Trump, and he is very serious about the threats that he makes. And I am not all that convinced that you like him for being a comedian. I suspect that you like him very much for what he really is.

That's not what happened. In fact, the opposite happened.

YOU said, "yeah but Biden ... "

Hence my labelling that as a whataboutism. Because it's a whataboutism.

You're playing silly games again.

Perhaps we can start with presidents who grandstand on the deaths of 6 workers who died on the Baltimore bridge, claiming he had taken the train across that bridge many times. Never mind the fact that trains never used that bridge--ever.
But Joe lies. That's just Joe being Joe. So he gets a pass.
That is a minor error. He could easily have gone over it many times by car. I do not know of Biden's history of commuting, but if he rides the train a lot that error would be understandable. Now a HUGE error would be to claim that George Washington manned the airports, but we know that Biden is not that stupid.

We've also seen how he does as a president. Clearly, people liked what he did and want to vote for him again. They endured Biden long enough to realize that voting for biden because "he's not Trump" wasn't such a good idea last time around.

Biden tries to insert himself into every situation as if he "knows". Claiming he took the train over that bridge was a lie, just as he lied to grieving parents who lost their son/daughter in the military that he "knows" what it's like because he lost his own son in Iraq (another lie).
He's obviously willing to lie about anything and everything if he either believe no one will notice, or that those who would vote for him will make excuses for it.

Yes, some people were fooled and want Trump back. There is no denying that. Biden is nowhere near as entertaining as Trump, but he is a far better President.

The President always does that. From both parties. They try to demonstrate why they have empathy with others. What is wrong with that?

If you believe that, I've got a bridge in Baltimore I could sell you. (Some assembly required.)
Please, you are the one that has constantly been shown to be gullible. All that Trump did for the most part was to not screw up Obama's recovery. The pandemic threw a wrench into that so I do not blame Trump for the faltering of the economy that began then. Biden meanwhile has gotten the economy back on track and he has started to deal with the huge infrastructure problem that the country has.

Empathy in the form of lies isn't actual empathy. It's grandstanding. Not good to use grieving parents for that purpose.
What "lies"? You did not show that he lied at all. An honest error is not the same as a lie. By the way, why did you ignore the fact that Biden never talked about George Washington manning the airports? Would that have been a lie too? That would have to be a quite the whopper then.

How? By getting Congress to pass an "Infrastructure" bill that was actually a "New Green Deal" bill that couldn't get passed when it was accurately named, so biden had to lie to the public to get it passed?

He sure tells the "honest error" about how and where his son died a lot. LOL!

It was not even close to being a "New Green Deal" bill. It did deal a bit with the fact that AGW is a serious problem, what is wrong with that?
