Trump trial proves to be political after all

He's been found guilty of those things.
Are you sure?

Yep. I have a strong aversion to sexual abusers and people who spend their lives defrauding others.
You don't?

Let's have a look:
WASHINGTON — Jurors in New York state court on Thursday found Donald Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments to a porn star ultimately to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

So again, it was a matter of bookkeeping.

I've never even had a conversation with him, although that would be quite an experience!
Those who talk crap about him are the ones I'm far more suspect of.
Your silly games aside, you can obviously hear what he says when he speaks. You've just parroted it here. Hence my comment.

Um, no. Falsifying business records.
Fraud.

The Trump Organization has already previously been found guilty of fraud.
Then there's the Trump University settlement - fraud.
Trump Charity - fraud.

And civilly liable for sexual abuse and defamation.,

That's some great guy you're backing there.

When liberals are the ones doing the judging, it doesn't hold much credibility for those who care about truth.

LOL What a sadly, blindingly partisan response to facts.

These are convictions in courts of law.
Time to face facts.

A conviction by a jury instructed by a politically motivated judge who neglected to inform the jury that the "crime" was a misdemeanor and not a felony--and that it was beyond the statute of limitations.
But that's inconvenient, I realize.

wow.
Sad that trumps lawyers did not bring any of this up in court.

Will they bring them up in the appeal?
time will tell.
But I strongly suspect that your above talking points are nothing more than arm chair lawyers pulling whatever they can think of out their backsides.

Thus far it is nothing more than throwing whatever they can at the wall hoping desperately that something, anything, sticks.

As you have already learned, the judge controls what can be brought up in court. That's why certain defense witnesses weren't allowed to testify, and yet people like porn-queen Daniels was allowed to give a detailed fabrication about having sex with Trump (which had nothing at all to do with business records, which is what the case was actually about).
But we all know that drama is what the judge wanted so the jury would vote a certain way. Now let's see if the SCOTUS allows it to stand.

A conviction in a court of law. That is binding and lawful. By a jury that Trump's team had a hand in choosing.

Nah, it's just nonsense Fox News reporters made up to make all the MAGA feel better.

We Never Know

No Slack

Nothing says, "This is political" like the president of the United States sending a democrat activist to Trump's court trial (along with a few exploited Capitol cops) just as the jury is hearing closing arguments.

Question.....

How many cities had businesses looted and burned Friday night and over the weekend because people didn't like the verdict/outcome of the trial?

Do you really believe what Trump and FoxNews are saying, or do you believe that repeating the lies often enough will gaslight some people into questioning reality?

  • Myth: No one knows what Trump was charged with.
  • Myth: Prosecutors stretched the law to convert a misdemeanor into a felony.
  • Myth: The prosecution didn’t tell Trump what he was charged with until closing argument, a violation of due process.
  • Myth: It was improper for a state prosecutor to charge a federal offense.
  • Myth: Trump would not have been charged for a mere bookkeeping error if his name were anything other than Donald J. Trump.
  • Myth: There is nothing illegal about paying hush money, and famous people do it all the time.
  • Myth: The charges were filed after lengthy delay to interfere with Trump’s campaign for president.
  • Myth: Justice Juan Merchan was biased because of his $35 financial contribution to Joe Biden and because of his daughter’s work as a democratic political consultant.
  • Myth: Juan Merchan is a judge on the New York County Supreme Court.
  • Myth: Justice Juan Merchan violated Trump’s rights to defend himself by refusing to permit him to call an expert witness.
  • Myth: Justice Merchan violated Trump’s First Amendment rights to free speech and to testify in his own defense by imposing a gag order in the case.
  • Myth: The U.S. Supreme Court may intervene and overturn Trump’s conviction before the his sentencing on July 11, which is four days before the GOP convention.

Nothing says "This is political" like Trump being continuously in contempt of court, hoping to get sent to jail with perfect photos in the press showing how the poor innocent harmless wee lamb has been abused.

What a corrupt lump of excrement that man is! Rapist, fraudster, violator of the US constitution, and the most divisive and incompetent president in memory.

And I see that he resides under the skin of many liberals.
Good!
