Trump trial proves to be political after all

Where did you get that one from? And yes, it will probably add to debt, taxes may have to be raised to cover it. So what? It has to be done. This is something that Republicans can never understand unless it is military spending.

The old "But we gotta do something!" fallacy.

That has been the focus of all media for weeks, and Trump's team plus other GOPs had been using the press gathering all along. Didn't you read about the revolving courtroom support? The ones who were not under the gag order?
ALL the media were in that one place? That doesn't explain how the news reports from other parts of the country (and around the world) got done.
But poor Robert De Dardo, having to go all the way to New York to get any attention, as if Washington DC is suddenly without any media attention. Must be a real bite for president Bite Me to not have the media waiting for his next TRIP.

I see the position you play -- so, enjoy.

It is not a fallacy. Our infrastructure is in dire need of updates and upgrades. Ask.Texas about their power system.
Every president passes an "infrastructure bill" during their time in office. Then the next president acts like there was never one passed and then wants to pass one of his own, usually at around a trillion dollars or so.
Biden signed one into law in 2021, remember? And now you're saying "Our infrastructure is in dire need of updates and upgrades". That's an indication that even you realize it doesn't get used for what we're told it will be.

Boy, you need to listen to others more carefully. I already have said that Biden's bill was only a beginning. And Trump's bill did not pass if I remember correctly. That is because he was a terrible President. Clinton managed to get more done with a Republican Congress than he did with a Democratic one. That is one of the main reasons that he is seen as one of the better Presidents. I was a Republican at the time and his constant lying irritated me to no end, but I had to admit that he got the work done.

Right. Another trillion dollars is only the beginning, just as the other trillion dollar ones were. Biden's next trillion dollar spending spree will also be the beginning.
You guys sure like beginning things. How about making actual progress?

Once it passes, all that money is just going to go down into a big black hole and disappear forever, and then they'll start up the rhetoric all over again with infrastructure blah blah blah, jobs blah blah blah, economy blah blah blah., More money needed for it all blah blah blah.

Rinse lather repeat Ad nauseam.

It is far better to spend the money on what is needed than what is not needed. Do we really have to have the world's largest military?

Allow me to translate for you: If the money claimed to be for infrustructure never ends up improving it, then it's obviously not being used for that purpose no matter how many times they spend a trillion dollars saying it's for that purpose.
