Trump's strong support / Democrats' lack of support, by white women

Your link doesn't provide a side by side comparison with trump. Maybe you should have a look at trump's page as well, and then get back to us about who is "worse" based on, yaknow, an accurate comparison.

That site is pretty confusing, actually. It seems to have multiple scores all overlapping each other or something. But I agree that the site may depict Trump worse. I tried to gauge too quickly without understanding all the ins and outs of the site.

The other side literally stole the election by having social media conceal information on Biden and his son. It's the only reason he won.

While Hunter Biden probably isn't the best person, I think Trump bringing the subject up may have been a distraction from his own misdeeds.

Trump is a master of the single issue voter. Many white women are pro-life. They can ignore all sorts of evils if they think that Trump will get abortion banished. If a person is a gun nut he will definitely vote for Trump too. If a candidate can find enough single issue voters that will stick with him no matter what he can be rather difficult to defeat.

Try searching RF for "Trump Hitler".
One gets a huge number of threads wherein they see Trump as old Adolph reincarnate.

So much of politics seems to rely on "tactics," and many political disputes seem to revolve around that, more so than the core ideas and issues which affect the country.

That's coupled with an inordinate level of argumentation over terminology, phrases, and word choice.

I made a reference to both Hitler and Stalin recently in regards to trump being considered "not that bad" by a poster. Bringing up Hitler is not off limits IF there is a strong point being made to compare patterns of history. What I stated was how both Hitler and Stalin did excellent jobs as leaders early in their positions. Both made substantial improvements to their nations because they didn't have to account to something like a Congress. They both identified problems and they made decisions, and those decisions were implemented. The USA system gets stifled because there is debate, and many good, and bad, ideas don't get implemented because there is a compromise.

The USA would be vastly improved if we had a dictator who said there would be strict rules for dealing with the pandemic, for more fair and equal tax rates, higher minimum wage that is increased in different ways and over time, universal healthcare, and so on. We can look at the anti-immigrant polices of the trump administration, and how many of their policies violated domestic and international laws, as an example of extremist views that were to some degree buffered by liberal laws. Who knows what would have happened if trump had no accountability to congress, or no fear of the law and consequences (beyond his indifference to corruption and fraud which he has largely gotten away with thus far).

The problem with putting too much power into the hands of one leader/person, is it can work just about heavenly when you get someone good at things and moral. But eventually, a narcissist will step in.

Right. Those who seek power are not always morally and ethically stable enough to do what is right. I mean, what is REALLY right. That tends to be a very liberal, open, and tolerant view.

Hypotheticals are dangerous indeed. Some people don't
recognize potential positive aspects of despised people &
systems. Dictatorships, theocracies, democracies, etc
each have advantages & disadvantages. It's worth the
examination of each. But it doesn't mean that we approve
of each.

Wow! Is this a reverse Godwin's Law? It appears that you have lost the debate already.

No one made any such excuses for Trump. How about sexual assault and bragging about it?
What excuses? As I recall that Media painted it as a good thing.
Who is really promoting Hitler like behavior? It's the left, with their constant push for tyranny. Mask mandates, vaccine mandates, always more control.

Actually, the government mandates of vaccination, masking, &
separation aren't for the general population at all. Mandates
originate with employers for employees & customers.
Moreover, government is even is trying to interfere with our
right to see that those we deal with are safe from Covid 19.
This particular "tyranny" is from the right.

Pay attention to what politicians are pushing the lockdowns and mandates. It's mostly the left.

Pay attention to which politicians are interfering with
schools & businesses who want vaxing & masking
for safety of those in their charge.
These anti-safety governors are imposing their
personal values & misconceptions upon the unwilling
by law & threats of fines.
RINOs all...pretending to like small government.

It IS small government when one will not make mandatory rules about how a business does business!
" I'm taking away freedom for your safety." Is the theme of tyrants.
