Unpacking Donald Trump's controversial Tweet

I can't possibly see how this stunt is going to magnify division within the Dems. If anything, it unifies them more against Trump.
I won't say it's likely, but it's possible that the pro vs
anti impeachment camps would war with each other.
Is this Trump's intent? Again, unlikely.
He just does what he does without much thought (IMO).

Uh-uhu sure.

Huh?

Again the definition of the words.

I'm still not clear as to what your point is here.

or party as per Dean

Well, that's pretty much how it goes. Essentially when people say "America, love it or leave it," they're really saying "If you don't like the specific political philosophies of our party, then you are not American and should leave the country."

In other words, it's just like saying "those who are not with us are against us."

Eg I do not believe you.

Anecdotal evidence from outside the event is useless.

Yup. It is a cheap way to score points.

Yup.

I think Trump has accomplished what he intended, magnify division within the Dems. And I fear that if they don't keep such enthusiasm in check, at least for now they will loose it, as did the over enthusiastic Newt Gingrich.

The Squads response was a dumpster fire.

While ignoring the other three natural born Americans the comments were directed at? I would say such a tweet is very unamerican. Omar is a naturalized American Citizen.

Regardless, all 4 women are disgusting freaks, racists, paedophiles and are extremely unintelligent. :p

Basically, they should be called everything Trump is and more.

ow does anyone really know? People can't just assume it's racist without thinking about context.

As someone who was born and raised in this country and who has had the experience of having such phrases said to myself those of us in this community are fully aware of the what the phrase means and it is unequivocally racist. during my time in Arizona I've had whites tell me to "go back to Africa" despite that I'm from the United States. The idea here is some of us are seen as the other just as these congresswomen.

The reality is it might have been , or it might not of been.

I don't see how people can be that dense to not see it is. How many people of color (and even whites) have to convince you that it is racist? Your denial is very sickening.

How many times have people wanted to say to somebody on their back to the point of irritation to go back to where they came from?

Only racist cowards do that. why would I tell for an example an Asian woman to go back to their such and such country when they're born here? It's a racist reference point blank.

It could be just an outburst. The only one who really knows is Trump. For people just to assume it only looks that way is just disingenuous. Look at his policies, not his words Imv.

The only that knows is not just Trump, but me and every other person with some damn sense.

Eg I do not believe you.

Believe whatever you like, if it makes you feel better.

Anecdotal evidence from outside the event is useless.

All I said was that I've heard such talk before in other situations. It wasn't intended to be used as "evidence" of anything.

Sometimes, a discussion board just has...discussion, and I was just making a general statement. Not everything needs to be taken apart and analyzed.

Then mentioning it was pointless.

You post how you want. I will post how I want.
