Revelation 10:9-10 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
Being a Christian is sweet to taste, that is you are filled with an unspeakable joy at knowing the Lord and His power in your life but at the same time you are saddened for those who know not this power and who live in darkness. You fear for your loved ones who do not know the Lord and when they die you miss them more knowing you may never see them again. This is why it turns your stomach bitter so to speak.
But we have a God of comfort:
2nd Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Who shall one day make all things new:
Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, *I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
And we will sorrow no more:
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away
