Continual interaction.
Not necessarily in harmony.
Harmony?...this world or the next?
We know war in this world.
I've heard of war in the next.
Angels are displayed with sword in hand.
You can't compare to Brahman... what is it you're comparing?
I acknowledge that there are differences, but compared to Brahman, they are still superficial. Form and pain are temporal, but Brahman is eternal, beyond form, beyond pain and pleasure.
Willa has pointed out that there cannot be any comparison.
As per Hindu gurus, one either sees brahman or sees the world.
I hold that only a sage (abiding as brahman/realised being/God) can talk of the subject of the OP with clarity. .
My original point, using the wave/ocean metaphor, was that the wave is none other than the ocean itself, as illustration that there is no difference between Brahman and maya. It was you who objected.
And yet, a true sage will think of himself as 'Nothing Special'.
'When a man gains wisdom, he becomes a sage;
When a sage gains understanding, he becomes an ordinary man'
Again. That is not my point.
True. It is that Oneness which lies between that percieved duality of harmony and disharmony. That is where that interaction takes place. So you are correct, there is neither harmony, nor is there disharmony, those are only false perceptions we create with our minds. There is only Oneness. Good on you for pointing that out.
No one knows anything about 'this world or the next'. All we know for certain is that there is this world. If you cannot realize harmony in this world, how do you expect to realize it in any other? There is not you and the world; you ARE the world. So harmony begins with you.
Negating the terms of a discussion doesn't win the discussion.
Duality is forever.
Looking away from the obvious won't make it go away.
The next life will happen.
I believe it.
Some of this carries over.....and so the angels carry swords.
(they've been displayed that way for a very long time)
Good luck.
None of this is known as real. It is only your imagination, no more real than the Land of Oz.
So do you fancy yourself 'Swordmaker to the Angels', that you might be 'worthy' of salvation? Careful. I hear St. Michael's favorite is to impale admitted Nun Seducers.
As a toolmaker my serves my prove useful.
