I really don't know if crazy laws are just an Islam thing a lot of countries have the death penalty which I guess would be anti-far-left. However the execution for sodomy seems to be a Sharia law thing, in Qatar sharia law, applying only to Muslims, can have a person executed for extra marital affair regardless of sexual orientation. US has laws against Sodomy because of Christianity if your in the military but not the death penalty.
