Pretty cruel for God to tell us to seek him when it is not possible to find him.
Imaginary beings are only cruel in the imagination.

I have made no such claims.
So, you weren't referring to Jesus here?
You said god tell someone something.
That only come from book that contains mythology.
Imaginary beings are only cruel in the imagination.
Not true.
The voice of God comes from within.
So, didn't you say that Jesus became God and returned to God? How can you return to yourself?Yes i was.
So does imagination

The imagination is a faculty not a voice.
we use the imagination.
I'm inclined to think the same, that it was not created. I see no reason to think otherwise.Agnostic ignostic living atheistically. Though the more I read of Hawking the less agnostic I become inclined. If he's right, there is nowhere for the universe to have been created.
I would look up the term before making claims like that. Agnosticism is the belief that knowledge of God's existence or nature is not possible. This in no way precludes someone from believing that God exists. Thus, there are many agnostic theists and atheists alike.
"Agnosticism is the view that the truth values of certain claims – especially metaphysical and religious claims such as whether God, the divine or the supernatural exist – are unknown and perhaps unknowable."

Wasn't Jesus God, though? How can you return to yourself?
Belief in God is different to belief in a cat
From your comments here on RF, it seems that you are most definitely a Gnostic Theist. And, yes, i read the thread ... or most of it at least. Why?Great, that makes me a gnostic Theist, then. Did you read the thread?
Cats seem to exist.
That's a tough one. I believe that Jesus was God's message to humanity. So, in essence, I guess that means that Jesus was part of God.Is it your position that Jesus 'was' G-d?
Too true.Though many cats also believe they are god.

Gnosticism: the thought and practice especially of various cults of late pre-Christian and early Christian centuries distinguished by the conviction that matter is evil and that emancipation comes through gnosis
Gnosis: esoteric knowledge of spiritual truth held by the ancient Gnostics to be essential to salvation
That is why I consider myself to be agnostic, actually. Because verifiable evidence is not available and our subjective experience is often unreliable, I feel that "knowledge" of God is not possible. Faith is the best we've got.Fair enough.
What I'm really getting at, is that your use of 'agnostic', for practicality sake, seems a tad arbitrary, does it not? Since there is way to 'prove' various things, anyway.
