What is your belief in regards to God?

What is your belief in regards to God?

You will be assimilated; it is His Will.
Actually, we have all the same stuff, we just don't name it God and then imbue it with magical powers "beyond comprehension".
Wot, like, tiny little things spinning around a centre that in turn makes up everything. Yeah, that would be dumb.

When i spoke of belief, I mean belief in God, not other belief.

Belief in god? If you are using belief as a syn for knowledge of god, the two doesnt mix in an objective (dictionary) sense.

How do you equate belief with knowdege?

I can believe in god with whom I have no knowledge about

Once I have knowedge, I have no use for belief. Trust, yes. Belief, no....because its substatiated.

Until its confirmed, how can belief in god equate to knowledge of god?

How do you know?

Since life does not revolve me, I wouldnt. That doesnt mean it isnt true.

For example, just because I havent gone to Africa doesnt mean it doesnt exist. Why would I say it does not when its existence does not depend on me.

Its not blind belief. If it were based on me, once I die, all of you would cease to exist. Is that true or am I off?

Yeah man - pick any example that you like. There is actual evidence for all of those things, even the ones that are the hardest to comprehend.
But when it comes to God, there's literally nothing but speculation or mental hoola-hooping, trying to back log any observational things into an "evidence for god" category.

My kids and I play a game where we blame everything on their Nana. We all know it's a joke and it's all in good fun. But when it comes to the pious and God, you guys play exactly the same game, you just take it way too seriously.

"Look, there are Mountains" - God put them there
"Oh look, it's raining." -God did that
"Why is the sky blue?" - God likes that color
"I don't understand Calculus" - It was invented by the Devil, who was created by God.

Agnostic ignostic living atheistically. ;) Though the more I read of Hawking the less agnostic I become inclined. If he's right, there is nowhere for the universe to have been created.
But there are god concepts that do not include creation of the universe so I remain agnostic ignostic atheist to those.

I believe "God" qualifies as the only explanation to the mystery of existence.

Education could change that, provided one had an open mind.

There really is no mystery here. Mythology has failed at explaining anything in nature.

Belief in God is different to belief in a cat

Pay attention.

I don't BELIEVE my cat exists, I KNOW my cat exists. (I don't know if he exists in a living state or not, but I believe he is most likely alive, judging how fast he got his fat A55 to the food bowl at 6 30 this morning).

I BELIEVE my cat is alive, but I could be wrong.... Let me check...

Ok, called my fiancé. Now I KNOW he is alive...that fat, lazy couch shredder!

Belief and knowledge are different. Most states teach this concept in literature class about four months into 9th grade. It's like...you know....a linguistic fact.

Except that you have not a single example of people growing up to become gods... And there are billions of examples of babies growing up to become parents.

If I replaced your entire argument with the character of a Magic Dragon instead of God, would it still make sense?

There is one who has returned to the Father.
Be patient, you will get there.
