What was last movie you watched?

The Sum of Awe

Halloween (Rob Zombie remake)

Damn Michael is tall! I was impressed with it, but I do think some of the killings were uncreative.

"Star Trek: Into Darkness"
What I like about that movie is that the actors convey the characters'
personalities in a way quite similar to how they were in the original series.
Being something of a 'traditionalist' fan of the show, I dig that. :)

Ehh, mostly my wife loves Superman movies, I was just hoping it would be better than the last one...was pleased overall. My 5yo daughter said it was too crazy :D

I always watch these type of movies for popcorn entertainment but also looking at them as modern mythos expressions.

I liked the soundtrack most and some visuals.

Captain Phillips

Actors did an amazing job, the footage was awesome along with the sound effects (honestly felt like I was far out in sea, and the suspenseful scenes I felt like I was in the movie!), the plot was amazing, etc.

This is one of those movies that are near perfect.

Just returned from enduring Inside Llewyn Davis.
One of the most miserable & tedious movies I've ever seen.
I'm a big Coen Bros fan, but after A Serious Man & Llewyn Davis, I no longer trust'm.

In my opinion it wasn't bad, it's just that I expecting something better, and disappointed that it didn't match up to be so.

I have a feeling that the second one will be overdone though, adding Wonder Woman, Batman, and I think there was another hero in there.

It'd be like Spiderman 3 except more heroes instead of more villain

I have just returned from watching Woody Allen's "Blue Jasmine".

Loved it. Cate Blanchett is superb in a very difficult role, but the whole movie is extremely well-done.

This time there is only a hint of comedy, but the drama is all too familiar and authentic, yet presented in a sensitive and wise way.

A sobering call. Highly recommended.

The King's Speech

I liked it overall; it was superbly acted and well-made, but I felt is was a little overhyped.
