Nope. Not at all. It's similar to way the movies about Greek mythology are. The Biblical story is used as a backdrop for a universal message dealing with virtue and respect for all lifeforms.

Just saw a Winter's Soldier. Not bad for a Marvel comic book movie but there starting to get repetitive. Nothing unexpected(except the old reel to reel computer)

That's the last one I saw, too. I liked it better than the first one.

For the most part, I think Marvel's done a good job with their recent movies. Back when I used to read comics as a teenager, I was more into DC and their characters, so I'm kinda disappointed that the DC movies have been pretty bad, other than the first two Dark Knight movies, and the first two Superman movies (the Christopher Reeve series in the late 70s). They've done well with some of their TV work, though, like Smallville, the 90s Batman Animated Series, and the Justice League cartoon.

But I was also a DC fan at the time because they had better writers and put out better stories. It's not about the characters for me, it's about how well they're presented, both in comics and movies.

Didn't like the musical interuptions but the movie was good. Its the first movie in a long time that I couldn't figure out right away. It keep me quessing 3/4 of the movie and I was only 85% correct about the ending and I read the reviews which gave me insight into the movie. My two boys 13 and 8 liked it as well.
