whats your beef with brexit?

Denying that the anti-Brexiters were financed by a criminal is much worse.

How very convenient. Nevertheless; you've not given me anything to deny as you've not bothered to substantiate your claim which makes it look like you're just trotting out another right-wing conspiracy theory.

I wish Leave weren't so encumbered with conspiracy theories and all-around kookiness. Because really, I think it hurts their basic case: for various reasons, sometimes economic and sometimes migration-related, they dislike Europe's overbearing bureaucracy, its lack of accountability, and the trend towards centralization in it that's inching increasingly towards superstate status. That's something that I think many British people can get behind, and since their basic concerns are in the right place I don't believe all people who backed Leave should be demonized.

How one stops those issues is the tougher question, and one where Leave faces hard realities. It seems very difficult, to me, to negotiate a deal that leaves the common market without strongly damaging the British economy. Since my objection to the EU is more anti-bureaucratic than anti-migratory and I support the principle of a common European market, I personally wouldn't care if May opted for the eventual likely outcome of a "soft Brexit," but I think most Leave voters are obviously balking at that right now.

Wow, even after all this time the morons of ReligiousForums still do not have the foresight to determine we are heading for an EEA/EFTA Brexit. I predict, along with that, we will negotiate a VAT deal, external tariff alignment deal and customs cooperation deal (using Union Customs Code and flexible EEA Protocols).

Hard Brexiters are stupid.

Remainers are less stupid but still err on the moronic, Guardian-level of information about Brexit side.

^I would have liked your post, since I basically agree with it, but calling the entire forum "morons" isn't likely to help your point get across.

I should add to it that I expect close cooperation with the CSDP, despite the UK longer being members.

Ok...when we Italians ban Soros by law, will we be called "conspiracy theorists" by you?;)

Throughout the post-referendum period, Soft and Hard Brexiters have been lumped under the umbrella term "Brexiters". Remainers have coupled and equalised two groups of people who are utterly distant politically. This has caused untold amount of damage to the Norway Option and is the reason we are seeing a delayed and botched Brexit by the Government through May's Legitimisation Process.

Morons is putting it lightly.

This man is classed as a hard Brexiter but I would not call him stupid, far from it.

He should have been put in charge of the negotiations.

You really don't want the Minister for the 18th Century in charge!!

He thinks same-sex marriage is wrong
He thinks women should not be “allowed” abortions, even in cases of rape
He doesn't believe in climate change
He votes against any rise in benefits, even for disabled people; supports zero-hours contracts and tuition fees
He has six kids and has never changed a nappy
He is a fund manager with interests in the tobacco, mining, oil and gas industries

He is currently moving many of his companies from the UK into countries that are in the EU

Yes, the ideal man:facepalm:

Being as you think Jacob is funny, no doubt you think this funny woman would make a better job of the negotiations.

You realize someone can dislike both the furthest right Tory and the near-furthest left Labourite, right?

Although viewing that video, I'm just getting the impression that she doesn't want to undercut her party leader, so is deferring to him for answer on that big a question. It's pretty normal. I say this as someone who absolutely can't stand Diane Abbott.

It doesn't take biblical ages for a soft Brexit, or specifically an EFTA Brexit. S
March 2019 is pretty close...
we are still waiting for the Bank of England to divest its ECB stakes . We cannot talk about a Brexit until then.

Why do you jump to that ridiculous conclusion??

You really are a one; I can't stand the woman. BUT she is nearer to me in her social standing than Jacob Rees Moog ever could be... private school, privilege, wouldn't know physical work if it hit him in the face - I assume that must be your background too.

Shelagh Fogarty would claim to be an impartial interviewer so I doubt that she could be said to be someone that absolutely can't stand Diane Abbott.

I do not know whether you could say the same about this man, but he does know his facts.

She is a big fan of Jeremy Corbyn so you should be a big fan of hers.

As you mention private schools -
