The Sir Humphrey’s that surrounded him are dead against leaving the EU.

Assuming this claim is true, what of it? Davis could fire anyone in his department he felt was impeding their progress & purpose.

Assuming it's not, have you got evidence that doesn't come in the form of a pointlessly long video whose channel I don't wish to give 'views' to?

You're still labouring under the baseless assumption that there's some grand Remainer conspiracy going on in the background as opposed to people failing to accomplish an impossible task set for them by a collection of paranoid, uninformed xenophobes.

Some people find it totally unacceptable to follow the democratic wishes of the country.

I'm going to call you out every time you deceitfully abuse the 'd' word in relation to the referendum.

The referendum was not democratic and the result was obtained illegally; stop lying about it.

To make them the scapegoats.

Fortunately, they were too clever for her and her best mate Olly.
Davis and Johnson clever:rolleyes:
May is the scapegoat; why do you think she hasn't been challenged by the Brexit cowards within her party?

It is not simple for the EU if we start playing hardball, as a true Bexiteer would have done from the start.

Trouble is, you are bringing in a new definition of voter 'True Brexiteer' - does that mean Rees Mogg and Farage?
What is a true Brexiteer, one who wants to crash out?

Who is offering you what?
I know the answer: the technocratic mafia of Brussels.

Incorrect. It's the collection of failures that make up the government in Westminster that are offering us one disasterous form of Brexit or another. The EU is waiting for them to finally decide what version they want to go with.

The British government is seeking a deal which advantages itself over EU member states - this would be detrimental to the likes of France so this is not a "back-stab". Also, the French President has no clout in British national politics so this misleading headline from the Daily Fail (surprise surprise) is disingenuous at best.

If you want to keep on paying extortion to the EU carry on, but do not expect us Brexiteers to chip in anymore.

You want access to over half a billion potential customers then you must abide by the rules of those customers.
You want one way free borders, hard luck

Then pay you dues. You dont get a free ride.

I know its difficult for the little Englander mind to grasp but in this world you pay for what you get or get nothing.

I don't know how often I wrote exactly this on RF to no avail.

It's like there is some mental blockade.

NAN certainly has a mental block where economy, the benefit of british business and the british people are concerned. Same goes for commitment, honouring ones debts.

But some hard right little Englanders are to happy to cut off their nose to spite their face just so long as their xenophobia can have pride of place

I just found this interesting article about recent polls.

https://infacts.org/massive-summer-polls-are-sending-clear-brexit-message/

"The first survey, commissioned jointly by Best for Britain and Hope Not Hate among 15,000 electors, indicates that more than 100 parliamentary constituencies that voted Leave two years ago would now vote Remain."

"Both recent big YouGov polls report that a referendum held now would produce a 53-47% victory for Remain. "

Looks like many brexiters are beginning to realise the leave campaign was not entirely honest about the benefits to britain (and the NHS)

The mood of the nation is hardening after two years of bitter rows and fruitless negotiations since the historic referendum result.

An overwhelming 62 per cent say they have not changed their minds. Those who have are mostly Remainers who would now vote Leave.

British voters are fed-up and want politicians to get on with Brexit

The problem with relying on the Murdoch press for your stories is that it is total bunkum!!
It was an online poll mainly of target voters. No independence, it is debunked here...

Is Soros better than Murdoch?

Nigel discusses the poll with the Sun on Sunday’s Political Editor here.

Good grief NAN, what is it you don't understand about THE BUBBLE???

The Sun and Farage scratch each others arses - both are funded by Murdoch, Bannon, Banks, the Alt-Right.
Farage would close down the NHS, he is to the right politically of Attila the Hun

Anyone would think you didn’t like Nigel.

Fortunately, many do like him!

Yes, sufficient numbers that he's lost every parliamentary election he has stood for despite at the height of UKIPs popularity picking the most likely seats.
The only way he can win a seat is by sitting in a true democracy; one that has proportional representation...err where is that? Oh that's right Brussels.

I am sick and tired of this fable, honestly.

The truth is that the EU is not indispensable, and UK can stipulate bilateral agreements with any EU country, if the EU commission (the criminal technocratic entity) doesn't interfere.

Brexit is showing these technocrats the fragility of their power.

i couldn't give a whistle how tired you are of facts slapping you down.

The uk can try. It will fail because without paying its comments no eu member state will deal with a defaulter. Without trade and border equality no eu member will deal with a winging little Britain

So your judicial evidence of this "criminal technocratic entity" is what precisely?

Your dreams of delusion are noted
