Christianity has treated people like s**t for centuries. You can't expect that bill to not come due.
I'm not a Buddhist and the principle still applies. Watch a few YouTube videos of stupid people doing stupid things, or of the police not behaving professionally.
What you do always comes back to bite you.

Absolutely. No argument here. The Church is rotten to the core. Always has been.
ETA, I grew up Catholic. The priests were sadistic SOBs and the nuns were head-cases. Nasty, NASTY people.

Me too growing up Catholic. The RCC is a criminal organization. And I just don't get the supporters. They just made JPII a saint and he knew about the molestation scandal in 1985 and covered it up for 20 years.
Sorry, off topic I just get wound up about that topic, especially as a lifetime Bostonian.

That's he's never said he hates god, never given us a reason to think he hates god, but rather you are projecting your own thoughts onto him?
You assume. Does that make sense? I don't believe anywhere in my 600+ posts I have said that I hate God.
I don't think you like the fact that I speak my mind about who and what God may be and its nature.
I'm a Deist. My interpretation of the thing that created this mess is different than yours.
