jeremiah, give one example of just one instance of existence being a finite thing.

ellen, you sure talk a lot to say NOTHING. you'de make a good politition.

time itself is also finite, the big bang brought time into exictance. you cannot ask what there was before the big bang because you are essentially asking what there was before time

penum and micr, your both wrong. not even closely related to finite.
Finite:

–adjective 1. having bounds or limits; not infinite; measurable.

2. Mathematics . a. (of a set of elements) capable of being completely counted.

b. not infinite or infinitesimal.

c. not zero.

3. subject to limitations or conditions, as of space, time, circumstances, or the laws of nature: man's finite existence on earth.

The speed of light is limited, measurable, and not infinite.

do you accept the big bang theory?
if yes, you shoould do some reasurch about if before you believe in it
if no, its pointless to further argue about it.

but on a further not, i have never seen an example of something that is truely infinate. infinity has never been observed, we cant even know for sure that it exists in theory cause no one hase ever counted to infinity.

speed of light, yes, but speed itself, no

thats like saying that the capacity of a 5-gallon bucket is finite.

you speak of a certain amount or measurement not the limits of the root subject.

time can be limited and measured within constraints, but in and of itself is infinite.

our "space" on this earth is limited surfacely by its size. it only can be changed by expanding outward or utilizing inward.

Sniper, you seem to be trying to bend definitions to suit your question after your question has been answered in a way you might not have anticipated.

MANY aspects of the universe are finite including several examples that you've been provided with, including the fact that the universe has a finite speed limit.
