Why can't Muslims criticize Islam

I don't think anyone needs to scare the masses about Islam. We all see, with our own two eyes and hear with our own two ears what goes on. The abuses toward women, the fighting in the name of God.

...People quote verses from the Quran for answers as to where and why these religious fanatics do such awful things in this day and age.

We want to understand. We think we know -these are not mentally ill people... These are brainwashed people, and we need something to blame.

The same thing applies to the Bible. From Genesis to Revelations, it's over run with demands for violence, blood shed, and death. It even has more calls for violence than the Quran. Not even Jesus is free of the baggage contained throughout.

To understand Islam all you need to do is understand Muhammad. The Koran is full of double talk and is designed to confuse people.

Muhammad was the perfect human being and what he did has to be emulated in order to be a true follower of Islam.

But people don't bother reading the verse the precedes it or the verse that follows? Why?

That is an exageration. Reading the three verses together does not really change much.

Truth be told, it makes barely any difference.

If anything, 193 aggravates the two preceding verses by declaring out of nothing that the God that inspires them only seems to be amoral and brutal.

There are many reasons why is that so. But perhaps the decisive one is that Christianity, flawed as it is, stopped short of decreeing itself perfect, complete and God-protected at its core doctrine.

In other words, Christianity allowed itself to learn better.

Islaam did not.

What I can see today is one quran and it's the same verses that being told by the prophet.

You see that today, yes, but by some accounts it wasn't like during the Rashidun Caliphates. After the compilation under Uthman, different version were gotten rid of, to produce a standard. But attitudes towards the Qur'an were much more variable within Islam for quite some time than they were today.
