whereas someone who views aggression and 'force' as a positive trait would walk all over me - forcing me to either abandon what I believe is good, or force me to be miserable be getting walked on.

Sounds very christian to me. I know I'll never trust another Christian until they prove themselves worthy of my trust.

I have no desire to trick anyone, gain power over others, or use people for personal gain. Because it would cause me cognitive dissonance in relationship with my morals. Others have their own made-up morals, which is like a barrier between holding common ground with another person.

The RCC condemns the use of condoms, full well knowing that people are not celibate. This has helped the spread of AIDS, especially in Africa.
The RCC condemns abortions which has helped the overturn of Roe v. Wade in the US. (Iirc the majority of Justices is Catholic.) I.e. the RCC is using their political influence to lessen the standards of women's healthcare.
Thanks, I did not know any of that.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a group of people who shared common values as you do? People you can trust, because they vow to hold specific standards of conduct or attitude.

As defined by the OP sexual purity means not having sex without making babies. Such radical overproduction of people has lead to all sorts of problems for the health of our planet in my view.
That's absurd. As you probably know, the Baha'i Faith has no such stipulations. As long as one is married they are free to have sex, even if it doesn't make babies. I never had children but I had plenty of sex when I was married.

The crusades were a reaction to islamic expansion and persecution of pilgrims in those areas, so yes, they were good and ABSOLUTELY justified, and im not ashamed my church called for several crusades.
inquisition too was to weed out heresy. only a small percentage were actually executed of the accused.
feudalism wasnt all bad either, and the church is opposed to slavery.

You expect me to not defend my church, right? Well i do.
Okay, then I would say Christianity such as this, causes people to lose their moral compass and advocate for terrible things like judging, marginalizing, subjugating and murdering people just because they don't believe in the same things as you do or because you've mistaken them for a witch.

Also, the Bible condones slavery, so there's that.

So whats the point of this forum if first of all, most people are are atheists, or some other religion. And "proselityzing" isnt allowed? Because proselityzing can mean a lot of things.

Is this just another circlejerk server, where skeptics say to each other how horrible religion is? Fact is most of the internet is-anti christian. But why is that?

I wouldn't say most people here are atheists there are some active young Earth creationists here and people from a variety of traditions

There have been some very lively exchanges here and I personally have learnt a great deal during my time here, time well spent

And I wouldn't call it a circle jerk, I mean you yourself created a thread that attracted a great number of replies from lots of people

My point is online discourse is generally mostly dominated by leftist atheist types in my experience.

Morals that may be superior to yours.

It would be wonderful but christians have proven to me that they cannot be trusted. Of course there are good ones, but a few bad apples spoil the barrel

You created a thread asking why atheists think Christianity is harmful and you're complaining that atheists answered you?

It's actually doubly funny in that you hand fed us some great reasons yourself.....
