Why do some Atheists say Christianity is harmful?

There have been countless times that I've disliked someone's opinion here and challenged them on it. That doesn't mean I don't like them. I love everyone here.

The saddest part is he won't even get to his imagined heaven when he dies. So he is just gonna be miserable and then die and that's his existence. Oh well.

Well, I'm gonna go ahead and enjoy my mortal life, since we don't know if our mortal life affects our afterlife. Theists can enjoy being miserable while they are alive.

Nobody knows that for a fact since facts have been proven, and it has not been proven that there is either something or nothing after death.
However, one can know there is something even though it has not been proven.

I think it would be incorrect to say that people don't like him (Speaking for myself at least). I think it has more to do with being annoyed about not being presented with an actual argument. As much as simply being preached to.

He posts provocative statements in his OP and subsequent responses to others in the religious debates forum, then complains about the backlash. I'm not sure he understands the meaning of reaping what he sows. In my opinion, he brought it on himself. I don't think he will find much sympathy from others.
