That's simply a racist article and I'm not wondering that you love it.
Cheap, unsupported accusations can be freely dismissed, and should.

It is more than a bit ironical that you attempt to dismiss the article as "racist". A mirror might help there.

And you have not answered my question of a few posts back. How come Islaam is still so strong - growing, even, albeit almost exclusively out of birth rates - yet there is hardly any trace of scientific or cultural achievement left in the Muslim world.

Algebra is an Arabic name, so what the original name in India was?
Islamic Mathematics - The Story of Mathematics
Mathematics is generally called "ganit-shashtra" and no subdivisions were made. What is today called algebra was discussed along with arithmetic, trigonometry and geometry. The work on Mathematics, including algebraic methods that were translated from Sanskrit to Arabic was from Brahmagupta.

This spurred the introduction of the decimal number system and algebraic techniques in the Islamic world.

Do Indians universities use the Arabic name Algebra or they use another name for it?
