but I watched the first half between switzerland and ecuador, and I liked what I saw from switzerland, they had a lot of possession, the passing seemed to make sense, their play seemed......purposeful, unlike other teams I've seen where the attack fizzles out

Messi might have actually showed up and remembered how to place one foot in front of the other in quick succession.

Italy-England has been the best game. Both sides were very good.

Van Persie's glorious diving header the best goal. Nobody takes the ball over the shoulder like Van Persie. It's like some kind of statement of technique.
