    Bibles have many versions

Isn't it funny how every religion belives their holy book is the only one inspired by God and all others are incorrect when in reality ALL of them were written by some person. This post was in fact inspired by God.

    Free Will

It is a gnostic belief that the God mentioned in the OT (the one known for floods, fire, and intollerance) was not the same one preached about by Jesus (one known for love, peace, and forgivness). It is our belief that Jesus was sent here to help guide us to freedom from the imprisonment of the...

What Makes Jesus The Son Of God.The Son Of God Theory.

Are you trying to say Christians are not guilty of this?

    religion helping health issues?

The church DOES encourage charity, but in a capitalist society you can't expect someone (in this case the farmers) to give away the fruit of their labors for nothing. Agriculture in this country is not run by the state or the church, but by consumers, just like everything else.

    religion helping health issues?

There was no such thing as a "wrong food" before they started adding the corn syrup to everything. The addition of corn syrup increases the caloric value of foods its added to exponentally, sometimes actually exceeding the caloric value of all the other ingrediants (i.e. soda).

    On eating people

Why exactly should it be a crime to eat an animal? Animals don't seem have any problem doing it. Its the natural order of things, higher life forms consume lower life forms. Perhaps you shouldn't eat vegtables either, they are alive after all.

Gluttony is one of the 7 deadly sins of christian dogma.

    religion helping health issues?

Gluttony is considered wrong by the majority of religous beliefs, aside rom that I don't see anything religion can do about it. It does make me angry that some bad habits (like smoking) have been villanized in this country, while others are encouraged (would you like that SUPER SIZED). The real...

    In the Garden of Eden

"In the Garden of Eden baby....." "In- A - Gadda - Da - Vida baby...." Yet another reason why you should be at least somewhat sober if you are going to make a record.

    Who Invented The Trinity ?

The issue wasn't clarified so much as two different views were voted on and the winner (by a close margin) was made the official doctrain. Again, I never said the Council of Nicaea invented the CONCEPT of a trinity, the Hindus already had one almost identical to that of Arius, but it was at the...

    In the Garden of Eden

If you think of the one week creation story as a metaphor for the differant prehistoric eras (i.e. each day representing what scientests would call the jurassic, mesozoic, etc), and the Garden of Eden as the Earth before it was spoiled by man, then you could make a case for dinosaurs being there.

    Romans 14:2

To me, the refrences to diet are a metaphor whose message is that that we should not look down upon nor condemn someone elses practices just because they are not the same as yours.

How to make an atheistic statement seen by thousands in America, using only a red pen

Actually, it says here http://www.ustreas.gov/education/fact-sheets/currency/in-god-we-trust.html that "In God We Trust" first apeared on a 2 cent coin in 1864, apparently because the Secratary of Treasury started recieving letters like this one. It seems it took an act of Congress in...

Do you have any thing to back up the claim that the LEFT is would try to make a facist state? I belive they would lean more toward a socalist state.

Could some RC please explain this?

Actually, I belive it was Thomas, the Apostale who doubted Jesus's ressurection (Doubting Thomas), but they both may have been.

God is not in the Big Bang

Just because something is inconvienent to our lives, or destructive, doesn't mean that is not part of the natural harmony of things.

    Who Invented The Trinity ?

So if I write a book, and say that it was inspired by God in said book, does that make it so? Telling me the Bible is the WORD of God because the Bible says so is perhaps the most rediculous thing I've ever heard.
