Because instead of preaching that people simply be sensible, his aim is to abolish religion altogether. His hatred for people who believe in God is just as venomous as a fundamentalist. Dawkins makes it clear that the only thing that will make him happy is if everyone believes just as he does...
I don't quite understand.....are they teaching that Americans are the only "real" human beings in Muslim countries? Somehow, I have a very hard time believing that.
I was asking for clarification, because the way I interpreted your post, it sounded as if you were saying that anyone who does believe those gods are real are "pathetic", or that belief in those gods is "pathetic".
Maybe next time you ought to do some mental gymnastics of your own and post...
Maybe not for you, but did it ever occur to you that just because you dislike Christianity, and certain people, that not everyone agrees with you? Or *gasp* that some people might feel the opposite way you do despite your silly, not well-thought out criticisms?
My personal favorite is that all Pagans are confused goth-kids, or naked pot-smoking hippies. Apparently according to some people, Paganism isn't a real religion, it's just a way for people to look cool and claim to be "alternative" :rolleyes:
