    Most of the time, is it because children are exposed to what their parents and the local community believe in. Or people are brainwashed to a certain degree.

Something I feel makes a positive difference to society. And maybe, more 'religious' people could spend less time in a praying group and more time...

    I think the media has a lot to do with how conspiracy theories are perceived. Often it doesn't matter if these conspiracy theories are true on not, it's the perception that they are true is what matters.
