Facts are facts.
We know they were written after Jesus's death. We do not know if any of the words attributed to him - were actually said by him. Or if he said something close, - did these later people get the meaning wrong because they didn't have the context?

The Strong's numbers are G305 and G3768, so it is -
305. go up/come up/rise up - 3768. not yet/as yet not/
Joh 7:8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.
So it just means - go up at a later time.
In 7 he tells us he is in danger, but they...
Gender is just an agreed upon classification, usually male and female. They usually just look for XX, or XY, for sex, but we know there are other groupings, and identities.
Sex and Gender listings definitely have to expand with new science which shows there are actually many release points...
I don't agree that Tanakh is "more" unreliable in relation to it's authors' intent.
I find Christianity unreliable. They took another religion's text, changed it, and added their own meanings. The Jewish Messiah was supposed to be a special human, not a God. No trinity, - period.
As to the...
We don't know what Jesus actually said - if anything. All we have are books written later by people CLAIMING Jesus said them.
And how are they recognized prophets and apostles? We know most of the books were not written by the people named.

Things have been added or changed in both over time.
Interestingly, if we remove Christianity from the original Tanakh, and discard the Hadiths and other writings of human men telling us the meaning of the Qur'an, both become much more authentic to their authors meaning.

My opinion is that IF there is a God, it would not give it's info to just one small tribe, from whom it was then taken, and twisted into a totally different religion.
I think a God would either make it's will known to all equally, or sit bake in silence watching and judging what it's autonomous...
The Jewish translation says -
Psalm 89:7 For who in the heavens is equal to the Lord? [Who] resembles the Lord among the sons of the mighty?
Psalm 29:1 A song of David. Prepare for the Lord, [you] sons of the mighty; prepare for the Lord glory and might.
David was called a son of the mighty...
Not sure what the discussion is here? But Elohiym can mean chosen people, judges, mighty, kings, warriors, etc.
There is a connection with a mighty oak. Interesting!

Obviously ALL of the other religions with ancient religious books could claim the same thing.
Obviously you can't all be right.
Personally, I don't think any of you are right.

I haven't read the book - but - these appear to show that what Mr. Bloom actually said, was that we evolved a basic sense, and it is developed in early childhood. Our ideas of good and bad don't come from a god. To Headhunters it is perfectly good to eat your enemy. Most of us on the other hand...
According to my dictionary spiritual and spirituality don't have to be connected to religion
5. Of, pertaining to, or having highly developed or refined qualities of mind or sensibility.
6. Linked by or sharing a deep intellectual or emotional affinity.
Thus we can call ourselves spiritual...
You have to remember that people are being told they are going to be tortured in Hell just because they don't believe in the Abrahamic God. After awhile such insulting threats tend to make us a bit testy. If the religions of Abraham continue to put out insulting ideas - such as the idea that...
It is actually correct.
In fact even testosterone evolved from estrogen.
"p. 988 "Human chorionic gonadotropin also exerts an interstitial
cell-stimulating effect on the testes, thus resulting in the production of
testosterone in male fetuses. This small secretion of testosterone during...
God's opposition to homosexual behavior. Why?
If a God exists, I doubt he/she made any laws regarding homosexuality. Man made them.
Folks claim God made humans. We know how fetuses become male, and it would have to be a stupid God to make a system that naturally creates a persistent percentage...
This is mine. I put it up a few years back, and haven't taken it down because I like it. :)
It has a male and female statue to represent the male and female energies in creation.
Also an incense burner, candles, a plate for whatever I might want to add, etc.
Flowers representing renewed...
This is what you wrote -
You got the answers that you did, - because you wrote it as if fact.
Thus again, - Does God even exist to talk to so-called prophets? Even if a God does exist, there is no proof such God spoke to anyone.
You are expecting what? That people whom, - for instance, -...
Baloney. You are all over the place.
Even if one decides God exists, that does not make it true that this God communicates with humans, or in the case of such actually happening, - that the person calling himself a prophet actually has heard it, and isn't lying.
