Hi everyone. I can't wear my hijab around friends and family because they would know that I am a Muslim if I did. My family would disown me if they knew I was a Muslim and my friends probably would too. What can I do? Just not wear a hijab?
I still don't know what Habishi is. I looked it up on Google and in the dictionary but could not find it. Could someone please explain what Habishi is?
I voted other because the Episcopal Church does not take a stand on this issue. But basically, I see nothing wrong with nude dancing or other nude activities.
Before the fall of Adam and Eve, there was no suffering on the earth. Because Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, suffering came into the earth. That is how I can believe in a God that allows suffering. Catholicism also has a reason for suffering. We can offer it up to be in union with...

My boyfriend is an Eastern Rite Catholic. I think he is either Maronite or Melkite. I think he is Maronite but I am not certain.
Anyway, couldn't we rename the forum to Vatican Catholic or something like that?
Thank you luna. I honestly do not like the idea of a papacy which is one reason why I am becoming Anglican. I honestly do not see why this issue should prevent me from becoming Anglican but the guy who mentioned this seems to think it is a huge issue.
Hi everyone. Someone told me that I should not join the Anglican Church because Henry VIII founded the Catholic Church because he could not get a divorce in the Catholic Church. How do I refute such reasoning?
I'm an Episcopalian and I believe in a literal Heaven and Hell. I also believe that I have a very good morality and ethics system that most Atheists/Agnostics/other Non-Theists would approve of. I consider myself to be quite liberal.
