I wish I was Harel. :p It would have been great to have a library built by Rival. That way i won't have to spend a single penny. Having a small library in my home is my dream too. But like Harel my room is quite small. :(
Like the Abrahamic God who is known by many to be a cruel vengeful God, bringing plagues, epidemics and even killing new born Egyptian babies, the Hindu God too is kinda cruel. He doesn't really murder people but He set in motion the law of karma. According to this law if you do a bad deed...
What you're saying makes sense but being a God isn't completely boring. I mean look at the bright side. You'll get to have an inflated ego from all the worshiping and offerings you'll recieve from puny mortal creatures. The current God demands worship, so why shouldn't you. ;)
Being a follower of Hinduism, the first thing I would do (as a personal God) is end the endless cycle of karma (cause and effect). No more suffering for lives after lives for one bad deed committed in ignorance.
I will also do some tweaking to Maya/illusion. I'll remove Maya's 'tamas'...
The Heart or Hridaya, (from what I've come to know after going thru a few articles and discussion posts in other sites) is that it itself is not the Universal Consciousness. The heart is instead the seat of Universal Consciousness. It is the chamber or sheath which encapsulates Brahman/Atman. It...
The non-dualist hindus believe that the Consciousness or Brahman ( as explained to me by @ajay0 ) does have a mind or intelligence of ITS own, even when IT is not in an embodied/finite state.
Before creation/manifestation of the cosmos occurs, IT can think how IT will present Itself as matter or...
When you say "consciousness then temporarily limits itself", do you believe IT actually performs such an action? In other words, do you consider Consciousness the karta (doer of such a deed)? I asked this elsewhere but didn't get satisfactory answers.
Can enlightened gurus or saints access the fourth plane / dimension while living in this mortal physical body here on earth? How many planes are there in total?
That can be very dangerous. Just imagine you're operating a big machine in a big factory, and at the same time thinking about Kim Kardashian's big buns ... and then WHAM, the metal blades drop right over your fingers.
... and you could end up delivering them in the wrong address. lol
Don't know bout my grandpa but my grandmama was probably sitting in her rocking chair sipping coca cola while her mother did her the 'victory rolls'. lol
There are some who listen to music while solving math problems. Then there are others who daydreams while taking a dump. :D What exactly do you do while contemplating?
Edit: Can the mods please move it in the General Discussion forum. See this is what happens when you think too much. lol
@Psalm23 Perhaps you'll like these two books :)

Do you think its proper to use the below example to explain brahman and maya. It just popped up in my head while i was contemplating :=)
A man in deep sleep or coma, doesn't move a limb (remains absolutely still and actionless just like the actionless Brahman) and yet in his dreams he's flying...
