We go to Disney World every year. We're members of the Disney Vacation Club so we get to stay in hotels that we normally couldn't afford. We just have to bring money for tickets and food, plus we get a discount on some stuff.
If you ever get a chance, take the behind the scenes tour at Magic...
I can't stand when people shorten words. Like "veggie" instead of vegetables. Or "Mani Pedi" instead of manicure and pedicure. Or "paci" instead of pacifier.
I also hate when people type "loose" when they mean "lose". I haven't seen that on this forum though.
God says there is a hell, but you don't believe in God so I don't know how else to tell you. The Bible says that Jesus is the only way to Heaven, so if you don't have Jesus, you go to hell. I don't know who is going to hell because that's between the person and God.
9-10ths_Penguin,
When I vote, I look at a candidate's agenda and see how it conflicts or goes along with the bible. I don't vote based on the political party, however, Republicans tend to be more conservative. I truly believe that if we voted on agenda, and left the candidates names off, we...
I'm glad you've read the Bible. Satan can also quote Bible verses, however they're often quoted out of context.
I've read it from cover to cover and study it daily. I don't claim to know all there is to know, and I enjoy learning from other Christians. How much less I know about atheism than...
Life spans were longer before the flood. The Bible states that the flood would destroy the land dwelling animals and the earth.
After the flood the earth was completely different than the earth before. There were widespread global differences, like changes in the climate, atmosphere, diet, and...
As a Christian, do you honestly care what other people think of your beliefs? I only care what God thinks about me. We're always going to be called stupid by people that are ignorant when it comes to the bible. Just let them say what they want and keep spreading God's word. We can't change...
Just because a person is strong in their faith doesn't make them arrogant. My understanding of the original question was that Weddy wanted to know for what reasons a Christian would vote for Obama other than for Obama's beliefs regarding abortion. It's a good question and one that provoked...
I don't see anything wrong with sharing your beliefs with someone, especially if you're strong in your faith.
I'm not one to go door to door though. Not a big fan of having the door slammed in my face.
I also look at the candidate's agenda from a Christian standpoint when I make my decisions. Unfortunately things didn't work out the way I had hoped. I think our country just got the president we deserve instead of the one we need.
