yeah, my 12 year old does not know about these things and does not need to know yet. We are teaching him about sexuality as we go and as appropriate.
More likely: he's learned quite a bit from his friends (though a lot of it incorrect) and just knows better than to let you in on this fact.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Seriously, how is teaching a child to recognize when they're being subjected to inappropriate behavior a bad thing?
It's simply not nessessary. At least for kids that don't need that type of complexity.

Let them play with their crayons, cut construction paper, watch Donald duck movies , sing nursery rhymes, and learn how to tie their shoe laces.

Trust me, they will survive.

Use the doll in the nurses office for exceptional cases.

Not in every closet, but there are enough that teaching kids about consent and to teach them to tell a trusted adult if someone touches them inappropriately.
That's what the school nurse and the doll is for.

Little kids in general don't need that type of stress added on them at such an early age.

You left out watch drag shows.

Every time I think of that I wonder why they want kids as an audience.

But that is a horse of a different color

Do you think that the old Bugs Bunny episodes where he dressed in drag damaged a whole generation of kids?

So you worry about kids being groomed/abused, yet have a problem with them being able to recognize when they're being groomed/abused.

Derp! o_O
