A Universe from Nothing?

And therefore small, so very small it would require something like the sensors of the lhc to detect.

Why does it have to come from anywhere?

Given current knowledge, talking pre universe existence doesn't even make sense.
According to theory, it exists, that is the point.

You're quite correct, it doesn't if it is eternal.

How else do you phrase it, the eternal false vacuum energy/god gave rise to the true vacuum and thence the universe.

According to theory the vacuum bubble forms from nothing

Nor does it if it doesn't exist. You seem to have forgotten that scenario

So you have evidence to show "the eternal false vacuum energy/god gave rise to the true vacuum and thence the universe"

I can't wait to see it.

Show me the evidence in the theory where the false vacuum came from nothing?

But the paper says it does exist, I showed you.

I showed you in the post where I quoted the paper you linked to.

I was answering your 2nd post and it disappeared, did you delete it?
Never mind, here is my reply anyway

Wrong, they are analytical in their outlook. If they have proof/evidence they will accept, if they don't they will question

Actually you showed me nothing, you made a statement nand expected the world to bow down in wonder

And in quote from the paper

"This allows a small empty space to come into existence "

Sorry, here it is again...
Ask a medic
If they are a materialist, they will say no, if open minded they will say yes.

But a materialist's analysis is based on materialism which excludes the metaphysical and thus may be in error.

You are the one imposing materialism and thus branding all medics materialist.

Analysis is based on evidence, not your opinion of other people

Once again your poor understanding of english must be raised, read it again and you will see I made a distinction between the materialists and those with an open mind..

No, look back a few pages.
Actually you showed me nothing, you made a statement nand expected the world to bow down in wonder

"This allows a small empty space to come into existence "

From the paper verbatim...Explicit solutions of the WDWE for the special operator ordering factor p=-2 (or 4) show that, once a small true vacuum bubble is created by quantum fluctuations of the metastable false vacuum, it can expand exponentially no matter whether the bubble is closed, flat or open.

[1404.1207] Spontaneous creation of the universe from nothing

So you see the true vacuum bubble comes into existence from the quantum fluctuations of the false vacuum energy....it does not come from nothing.

Nothing comes from nothing, when are you going to get it?

Not in this post you didn't
But that is not the post in question, are you not even honest enough to admit the relevant post was #4796

See where I say....."If they are a materialist, they will say no, if open minded they will say yes."

If it is not your poor english, what is it?
