I am more interested in the actual who, specific names, AND their "clear evidence".
I see where you are going. No, nothing is very clear and at best there are fragments. The whole notion of the Satanic verses was pretty well rejected by Muslim "scholar" from the 13th century on - more or less.

It is interesting how some people take it and run with it as though it is proven fact.

So you believe its well attested and true? Thus either you believe some divine person spoke to Muhammed, maybe satan.

In that case you should also believe that he split the moon.
Personally I find the inner fighting of theism rather comical.

The wiki article is worth perusing a bit and the reasons for rejecting the story of the cranes is quite amusing. Wiki isn't a great source, but it is a good springboard.

NO, he was not Alexander the great.
.

So the absolutely undeniable similarities between Dhul and Alexander in the Neshana are purely coincidental? And the '2 horned one' has no connection to Alexander's iconography with the horns of Ammon.

Classical scholars like ibn Abbas considered him to be Alexander. There is a hadith that links Dhul to the city of Merv (which was also known as Alexandria).

The verse is supposed to be a response to the questioning of 'people of the book' anyway. Which is why all 3 narratives in the chapter come from the Christian tradition.

Actually, I don't believe a lick of it. I'm just reporting the fact, man. :)
BTW: Love the story about splitting the moon. It's almost as rich as him haggling with god over the number of prayers.

To claim "truth" when your standard for evidence is so low that the exact opposite of what you claim has the exact same amount of "evidence" (and in some cases even more) is a most excellent stage for entertainment.
I see it more as sly Muslim humor as they cannot actually be serious. :D

In line with a man talking with monkeys. He wasnt even a prophet. In this world where men find it difficult to communicate with their wives, that would be a talent to nurture.

I never did understand why Muslim Men have so much trouble talking with their wives.
I cannot help but wonder with all those face covering if perhaps they are talking to someone else's wife and do not realize it.

Proving claimed truth as untrue with evidence people dont know a thing about in depth takes the trophy of all entertainment.

Oh, my wife is a very beautiful woman who never covers her face I have long chats with. But maybe you should seek some solace in something because you seem not to understand some humour. Thanks for insulting me mate, on your way home stop at a store and get a pound of life.

Bold empty claims in counter of bold empty claims is almost always entertaining to those uninvested in any of the bold empty claims.

that you take insult with my counter joke reveals much more about you than it does about me.
