All Bathrooms Gender Neutral: Good Idea or Bad Idea?

Dang mens! They're so criminal!
So true.

I think it is because men are biologically expendable. So their instinctive behavior is more geared toward proving their fitness. Women know that without them reproduction comes to a screaming halt. All they have to do is exist. Men need competitive sports like crime and war and investment banking and politics.
Or else chicks wouldn't know who to boink for best results.

In a family bathroom that is multiple stalls, you would still have strangers. Your point?

Oh for ****'s sake.

What sort of demented world do you live in? Who the hell builds multi-stalled restrooms in a family home? And the last time I looked my house isn't opened to the public, so why in the name of Zeus' butthole would I have to entertain the traffic of strangers using my private bathroom in my private home?

I wasn't aware we were talking about family homes...oh wait, we weren't. Family bathrooms are ones in public that families can use. I've seen both single-stall as well as multiple-stall family bathrooms in public spaces. Next time before you assume you understand what someone is talking about it would be good for you to review the statements that have already been made. We are talking about public bathrooms, not bathrooms you would find in your home.

Those are restrooms! There is a difference. Bathrooms are what you have in your house.

I don't really have a lot of people lining outside my house to use my bathroom, in fact, there are none.:confused::confused:

I have a line of people waiting outside my house just itching to use my bathroom. I would let them but I am afraid to let them use it with their socks on.

I really can't understand what the argument is here. Is there anyone here who believes that turning all public restrooms into gender neutral ones, would not result in a breeding ground for assault and predation?

This is not a question of proof. We know there is assault and predation. It behooves us to provide as few opportunities for this as we can. This is not about pushing community propriety limits. Its about safety.

Well, obviously having gender segregated public restrooms hasn't stopped some from assaulting others. So that argument is moot.

By that logic, since having weapons hasn't stopped wars, we may as well dissolve the army.

The response is the opposite. Since even with gender segregation there is assault, removing that will result in more assault.

Put another way, do you think child predators should be allowed work in elementary schools?

I'm saying that your line of reasoning here is bunk and your argument is irrelevant. Should sex offenders be allowed to use public restrooms?
