And The Border Is Secure??????

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Here is what politico's version states from February his year about the aid package.

"A $118 billion international aid package is on the brink of collapse in the Senate as Republicans continue to oppose it over border security provisions they argue aren’t tough enough. But some opponents of the funding bill have another familiar argument: that the bill would also send $60 billion directly to Ukraine.

Most of the money dedicated to Ukraine, however, won’t leave the U.S. Instead, tens of billions of dollars will fill Pentagon coffers to purchase new weapons from U.S. companies to refill inventories
that have been tapped to help Ukraine, finance military operations and sign contracts for new weapons for Kyiv."

Hey, if I can't use Reuters. the BBC, PBS, and Newsweek, you can't use Politico! Hell, can we use anything now? LOL

I didn't say you couldn't? Again, where did I say this? I only said they were biased. All organizations are biased in some way.
OK whatever you say. I didn't say YOU said it for the record. No one said it, specifically. No one WOULD say it, because it would be stupid to say it.

They all specifically bring up the funds for Ukraine and Israel. Which is one of many reasons why nearly every single Republican and at least one Democrat voted against the bill.
you could search the bill for the words Israel and Ukraine...but you won't find them

I did that already. I tried to read the bill but frankly I gave up on it. It had too many cross references for starters. Did you read the entire bill? I am asking because it was many, many pages long. IF you did so, I am impressed. Meanwhile, I gave what I thought were good sources but apparently they are biased.

So I guess that Reuters, the BBC, PBS and Newsweek are all wrong. AUGH! Don't make me read all the bill!

And I just named the most trustworthy IMO sources - there are pages and pages of sources that state that aid to Israel and Ukraine was included when the bill was introduced.

Do me a favor and google border bill ukraine israel aid.
Yeah I'm not reading that long sucker lol.
My guess is the add on's aren't included in it, but I don't know.
Every time they meet to pass an actual bill each party tries to amend it by either adding in or taking out things they use as leverage.

Well the amendments to this bill are listed in this thread, and they were all amended by the GOP. There 4 of them in total.

Doing a quick search, AI came up with this. So maybe (or maybe not) it was previously tied to it but isn't any more and/or people are mixing up bills.

Like the Mexicans saying bugger off to paying for Trump's wall that got climbed over, drove over and became advertising for how Sawzall even sawzawall?
One of these with an 18" blade will go all the way through way faster than a little Sawzall.
The TS 800 STIHL Cutquik® cut-off machine features a magnesium guard making the machine a full 0.7 pounds lighter than the previous model. The TS 800 features a 16” cutting wheel, the largest size we offer in a handheld design. It’s also fuel efficient, with enough power to cut through asphalt, concrete, rebar, iron, and steel with ease.

The wall has 6" bollards and the 16" blade only does 5.6" so take the blade guard off and it will take an 18" blade no prob. Don't even need electricity.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
NPR, Newsweek, PBS, the BBC - they're all wrong. And Argentbear is right. I'm not reading that whole bill by the way, are you?
As far as I know all bills are posted in their vanilla form. I'm not aware of earmarks and riders that were added in are included as a revision.

I think I would take the word of three major news agencies over somebody posting threads on an internet form.
