France is heating up:

I don't expect Germany to be far behind. Will the European Jews all be immigrants again soon ?

I accessed the link and read the contents.

Following two comment there are notable:

"George Weiss • Columbia University

Not very likely when you consider that the police probably have a large number of anti-semites in their membership. An I thought the French though of themselves as a cultured people.

Noemie Taylor • Reporter at Journaliste

George Weiss We do. Your comment is offensive for the French police who has done it's job remarkably well and has to face a tough situation every day. Why would they probably have a larger number of antisemites in their membership ? I'm French, Jewish and fed up with this kind of stupid assumptions." Unquote

How do you view them?

Paar, would you mind continuing this discussion with Rabbio ? He seems to enjoy conversing with you. :D I am not sure whether English is your second or third language, but I have no idea what you are talking about !!

I am very unhappy with what is happening in Gaza. Why can't the powers of the world, US, Russia, European leaders, Asian leaders, come together, and put a final peace to conflict in the Middle East ? This killing is so useless.

I quite agree with you.

Because they don't all agree, and this would end in a World War 3. Also, it's not their responsibility to babysit that tiny piece of territory in the Middle East.

How would it end in WWIII if the world powers decided we need peace in the Middle East?

Why isn't it our responsibility to help others from getting their heads blown off ?

The solution to the Middle East problems is education. For people to become educated, they need to know that they need to be educated. After 3,000 years the people of the Middle East still do not know that they need to be educated. They need lots of help.

the world powers never agree on anything.

Why isn't it our responsibility to help others from getting their heads blown off ?
it is our responsibility because we're Jewish, but it isn't the rest of the world's.

The solution to the Middle East problems is education. For people to become educated, they need to know that they need to be educated. After 3,000 years the people of the Middle East still do not know that they need to be educated. They need lots of help.
Well then here, you're probably unknowingly blaming every country in the middle east except for Israel because Israel is top 10 in every list I have seen, when it comes to education.

It is not clear from it whether the Arabs entered the synagogue or they were just demonstrating in the street.

Do you know? Please

Regards

I googled now for it and find the following:

Violence outside Paris synagogue falsely attributed to anti-Semitism (Updated) | Mondoweiss

This particular site is an ultra-far-left anti-Zonist website run by pro-Palestinian self-hating Jews. It frequently prints false information, and has zero credibility. This article, like the rest of the site, is just pathetic fiction.

It is interesting. I agree with their "progressive" positions, but disagree with their "anti-Zionist" positions:

Mondoweiss - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I opened a thread to know the answer.
They inform that the demonstrators did not enter the synagogue.
I think being Anti-Arab or Anti-Palestineis as bad as being Anti-Semitic or Anti-Zionist.

Do you agree?

Here we go again. More threads about how you have to be an expert in Torah, Talmud, etc. to even try to read Kabbalah. I'm not buy in' it. If Stephan Hawking can write a book to explain black holes to the general public, some genius should be able to explain Kabbalah to us ignorami.

Also, I do not believe the Berg's are bad, they are threatening the establishment....they better not post in the DIR. :D

I'm not a fan of Kabbalah-- too "mystical" for my blood.

There are general introductions to Kabbalah as a whole genre or field of study, written for the layperson. They include accessible overviews of some deep ideas, much as Hawking, Sagan, and other popular science writers wrote for the general populace.

That is not the same as trying to learn one of the great masterworks of the genre without adequate preparation. Any more than it behooves someone who has no real background in science and no real math skills, no history and no Latin to read Newton's Principia.

Perhaps this comes as a disappointment to you, but comprehension of advanced knowledge requires the work of mastering basic knowledge first. That is simply the way the world works.

Sure, it's real edgy and anti-establishment to bilk money out of the sick and the ignorant.

The principles of physics taught in the Principia are now taught in freshman physics. Same issue with Kaballah. Kaballah is kept from the general public for power and control issues.

Slandering the Bergs is not professional behavior. It just shows you feel threatened by them. Perhaps this comes as a disappointment to you ...kettle black. ;)
