Please elaborate what this has to do with Jonah?

We have to ascertain what identity a Jew mother or a Jewish mother can pass to her son as per Torah.

You are simply wrong. I do care.

Why? You are not Jewish, you don't believe Torah is accurate, so your position makes not one iota of sense. We don't tell you how you must interpret and use the Qur'an or Hadith, so why can't you have the same respect for us and just leave us to our own scriptures and how we choose to deal with them?

You are simply wrong. I do respect the Revelations made on Abraham,Moses, Aaron, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and David etc. All of them are my heroes.
But the corruptions cannot be appreciated, for the same reason.

When some body puts slur on the above heroes I have to defend their position.

Oh, so you're a "defender of the true faith", are ya? Gee, where have we ever run across that before?

No, I would suggest that you're just acting the role of a troll who thinks he has all the answers and has no respect for anyone else's religion or beliefs. As Confucius taught, the more one knows, the more one knows they really don't know. Or, a way I prefer to say it, a child thinks a tree is simple, but a botanist knows that a tree is quite complex.

So, try actually being more like the botanist than the child, OK?

Being an ordinary person I am both the child and the botanist in one.

And the joke is: You actually think that we might give you an answer.

Oral Torah is Torah.

Yevamot 65b comes to mind right about now.... and it's not the first time.

I'm reminded of the old joke about the elderly woman who asked if she was going to vote. She said she was not, and when asked why ------- She replied, "It only encourages them."
